Damn. I wish i had a bayless jersey. I actually liked him when he was here but i was a poor college student.

I doubt they're fetching collector's prices now...

The fuck is that security tag on it for??

Nobody's stealing an Oden throwback.

It's probably a medical alert tag from one of his practice jerseys.

Do you know what pessimistic means?
"Tending to see the worst aspect of things or believe that the worst will happen"

Synonymous with Gloomy, negative, depressed, bleak, cynical, hopeless, and many other things that probably define your life.

I know you can look it up, and great job. My question was do you know what it means because you posted it to me when I wasn't negative.

Oh so you were just genuinely curious as to why a grown man would buy a jersey?

You were just looking for some feedback, maybe a list, or chart, full of reasons that a grown man would want a jersey?

Silly me, I totally misread that.

Yes. I truly have no idea why a grown man would buy a jersey of someone most likely younger than them, making millions, doesn't give a damn about you.

Even so, it could never be pessimistic. Negative, maybe?

Some people just want to support the team, not necessarily that specific player, but I just don't see the point if you can only really wear it to the game. Go out and spend $200 on a football jersey that you will make you look ridiculous anywhere but the stadium or the sports bar on game day.

well, buying and wearing are two different things.

buy
bī/
verb
gerund or present participle: buying
  1. 1.
    obtain in exchange for payment.
wear1
wer/
verb
  1. 1.
have on one's body or a part of one's body as clothing, decoration, protection, or for some other purpose.

In Vegas a jersey is standard white trash, jobless idiot gear. If you roll up on a 1998 Ford Taurus with custom wheels and a tattoo covered arm holding a cigarette out the window there is a 97 percent chance a white kid with a jersey is driving.
