The possibilities are endless. Some good talent down at that end of the draft. Or should we consolidate? I like a lot of guys going that late.

Think we should take a gamble on Olynyk with one of those picks?
Or should we consolidate?

One player I would really like us to take in the 2nd round is Peyton Siva.

This is an interesting idea. He's probably not going to be a great player at the next level, but he was really fun to watch just because of his extremely high bb IQ. He really knows how to play the game and plays hard. Those types of guys can find success even if he is undersized and under athletic at the next level.
Funny, I have the exact opposite view of Siva. I've always seen him as a player who was effective due to his speed, but regularly made very poor decisions. Up until this year, I viewed him as a major underachiever as compared to his actual ability. Perhaps his years under Pitino have matured him significantly, but I'm really not all that interested in him, even at 45.
Package 2 of them to move up for Tim Hardaway Jr or Tony Snell. Use the remaining one to get Colton Iverson as a bench center.
I like the idea. Then again, I liked the Jon Diebler idea too. These one-skilled, specialized guys are who we need to draft in the second round. Strong defenders, shooters, or rebounders are the guys to go after. Considering the number of roster spots we need to fill, it's good that we have so many second rounders.
So, how do these affect our cap? Do they have cap holds? If not, can't we just sign them after all of our other transactions to be cap friendly?
p.s. I like Isaiah Canaan, but it could be because I used to teach at Murray State.
Other than that theory, can anyone explain why the Celtics gave us 2 2nd-round picks? (The 3rd one we have is our natural pick.)
