It's kinda windy, this could be good!

I don't quite get it. Either he succeeds in which case you watched a guy balancing for an hour, or he fails in which case you see someone die. Neither outcome appeals to me.

A giant eagle could swoop down and carry him off.

I only knew this was happening 'cause Sly posted it. I don't care about watching this sort of stuff usually, but I'm sitting here next to my computer watching TV anyway, so I threw it on.

I'm listening.

This could end up interesting. What if an eagle swooped down from the right side, and Sheryl Crow swooped down from the left, and the to battled to see who got to carry off Nick.

All they wanted to do was have some fun before Nick died? :dunno:

I'd be more impressed if he rode a unicycle across the wire.

Is this the same clown who walked across Niagara Falls?

On March 22, 1978, during a promotional walk in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Karl Wallenda fell from the wire and died. It was between the towers of Condado Plaza Hotel, 10 stories high. He was 73. Nik Wallenda completed the walk on June 4, 2011, with his mother, Delilah.

It's really windy. I'm starting to worry about this guy.

They should make a zip line across the canyon. I'd do that!

Jesus could have done that without a wire.

Nice walk. Very good effort. It wasn't across the Grand Canyon, though.

“How I love you, Jesus…You’re my Savior, yes Jesus…God, you’re so good. Thank you for this opportunity. Calm these winds in the name of Jesus.”

- Nick Wallenda immediately before embarking on the tightwire

Jesus can control the wind?

Matthew 8:24-27
Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us! We’re going to drown!”

He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

ahh

so that means he killed all those people with tornadoes in okc

what a dick

Satan has power, as well. my friend. Sometimes, God "allows" things to happen, that's true. It's all a result of sin in the world.

I'd strongly encourage you to get "fire" insurance.

EDIT: It's also very important to mention that God predicted there will be many natural disasters and the like in the end days. We are in the end days. When will the Lord's return be? Only the Father knows. Point is,we are called to be "ready". That's what I meant by "fire" insurance.

Know Jesus. Better yet, be "known" by Jesus. In which, He paid your premium. :)
