Hes most likely not coming to Portland. It was all a leverage play to get a bigger contract in Europea buyout clause in his contract had to be satisfied. the buyout is worth $6 million and that the clause “remains a hurdle” Tavares must clear to return to the NBA.
dammit! I still think Nurk is moved with the Lillard deal. Eubanks is a Sun. Who's gonna be the Blazers Center? Badji? Badji might be the only Center on the team?Hes most likely not coming to Portland. It was all a leverage play to get a bigger contract in Europe
The RM offer was like 3M euros and he hasn’t officially signed yet. It may be that he’s waiting something else out.Hes most likely not coming to Portland. It was all a leverage play to get a bigger contract in Europe
JoCro screw up. Now that Lillard is leaving Heaven will be missing an Angel. So, he thought he'd bring in Tavares, but he accidentally is bringing in the wrong one. From 1976, here is the real deal (yes, I remember this song from the old days):
Badji is really Bad Ji. But if you're looking for daily fantasy help, pick whatever center is playing the Blazers once he is the starter.dammit! I still think Nurk is moved with the Lillard deal. Eubanks is a Sun. Who's gonna be the Blazers Center? Badji? Badji might be the only Center on the team?
Don't say John Butler please, no, don't do it. Did you watch the tank games? Butler got ragdolled, bless his heart, he's just too darn skinny to play in the paint.
That's what I am talking about. I'm not sure what path the Blazers are on.Dude is 31...

Weird. We finally ARE relevant because we have the best young point guard in the league and now you’re bailing?Really strong signing
I’m finally at the point where I can’t take this bullshit anymore.
I honestly wish you guys the best…if the blazers turn it around I’ll be happy but I’m checking out until they’re relevant again. I can’t take the kick the cab down the road narrative for the organization to save face.
Good luck my friends

They need a rotation big adult even with a youth movement. That's what I am talking about. I'm not sure what path the Blazers are on.
Best young point guard in the league?? The guy hasn’t played a second in a real NBA game yet. Having a talented rookie doesn’t make you “relevant”—it just means you have a chance of being relevant in the future. We finally ARE relevant because we have the best young point guard in the league and now you’re bailing?
I mean, I liked Colin Castleton too—but Rupert was first round value. <shrug>The move of a desperate franchise without any good options, but we should all be used to that by now.

That’s the point. There was the report and then…….nothing.I guess I've missed it....Blazers have signed Tavares?
They made an offer a while ago. Then RM offered 3M. He has a release clause Portland can only pay 300k of that’s over 6M euros. Portland also has its BAE and 10.5M of its TPE left.I guess I've missed it....Blazers have signed Tavares?
Desperate? Bro, we're in a rebuild. Desperate was last year. We are doing marginal moves until a decision is made about Dame. Man, this thread is wild to me.The move of a desperate franchise without any good options, but we should all be used to that by now.
Between Dame and Scoot, we’ve been the lead in NBA stories for about 3 weeks straight. Right now we’re relevant. Whether that means “Tank Mode Coming” or “Young Guns trying to Make Noise” or “Major League”-level pulling it together, we’re pretty relevant right now. How long that goes on depends on what comes back for Dame and how Scoot/Sharpe/others look in real games.
Bill Cartwright was an All-Star.Bill Cartwright, the Bulls starting center averaging 29 mpg, was nearly 34 years old when the Bulls won their first championship in 1991.
Weird. We finally ARE relevant because we have the best young point guard in the league and now you’re bailing?
Wait... Out of everything, THIS is the signing that took you down? Lol
I'm just glad we're moving past the dame era. We finally have hope to have a non sucky offense and defense. Hope. Lol
