Quote myself, just looked it up. Vegas has 10.5 percent black people but the population has grown 50 percent since 2000. Compared to Portland at like 6.3 percent. That's even lower than I'd expect.

I couldn't find a post 2000 increase number for Portland.

Vegas is still lower than the nation which was surprising. I fucking wish I had skin that was better suited for the sun.

As long as they think, ICBMs are the way to go, it makes it easier for us, I think. There are a multitude of ways to deliver one though. That is a bigger task. That is where you really need to calculate whether you can let them have the weapon of any size period. Next thing you know, we have a ransom payment to make. By another name no doubt.
 
There are enough nukes in the world to destroy mankind fifty times over.

Many errors in this article. Especially the part about not dividing up Japan after the war and doing Korea instead. Total mis-characterization.

But I do strongly agree with this position;
"What we should do instead is invest heavily in defensive technology to preemptively castrate any possible threats"

When dealing with rogues, NK, Iran and whom ever, that may and will get weapons, we need to be in a positions to demonstrate, they have nothing. We should not rely on simply being able to obliterate them. That won't work reliable, especially when we have weak leaders that will succumb to paying ransom.

I also think it is time to reconstruct the missions of the US Navy. Perhaps the Ford class Aircraft Carrier should be the last. It seems to me we need many more ship capable of a variety of roles.
The Carrier effectively projected power as demonstrated by Halsey and Doolittle in the last century. We can do it now without risking a capital ship and crew, that can no longer be hidden.

I see the Nimitz is in the Persian Gulf showing the US Flag. Geez, I find that stupid to place that force of men and equipment in harms way with this sort of tactics. The Japanese did not sink the Enterprise or the Hornet because they did not know where they were. Everyone knows where the Nimitz is!

If we are still using tactics like this much longer, then I will start to voice a different tune about the current leadership. I expected nothing better from the previous gang, but now things must change. I hope we see some evidence of change in dealing with NK in this era.
 
Media wing of the democrat party is beating the war drums.

Part of the negotiation strategy has to be "we won't tolerate you being able to strike the US or allies" and part of it has to be "we can find a peaceful resolution."

That is what is coming from the administration.
 
Anyday now I expect a viral video of Trump at Wrestle Mania punching out a cardboard cutout of Kim Jong Un
 
Trump should have just gotten into Air Force 1 and immediately flown to Guam, stood on the beach and let the media take his picture, sending a strong statement to North Korea and the world.

At the same time send Dennis Rodman to North Korea with a simple message for Kim, meet me at the demilitarized zone in 24 hours.

China is the one behind this, they're bankrolling NK's bullshit to take our attention off their man made island grab in the South China Sea.

Unlike MarAzul I would make NK an offer they can't refuse. 1. It's far cheaper than going to war with them. 2. I'd pay Kim to splash a few missiles in the South China Sea.

You've called NK's bluff.

You've met their leader face to face.

You've gotten NK to piss off China.

That is a whole lot of winning.

Worse case scenario in all of this is maybe NK has a sniper take out Trump.
