<div class="quote_poster">Mamba Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I've experienced very similar experiences. Living in Virginia for three years, there were Civil War buffs everywhere. I don't even remember learning about it in school, everything I know comes from people in Virginia. I don't know, I still found it boring.
I do have some flags, bullets, clothing, and some other things from the Civil War, though.</div>
I know what you mean because I've met enthusiasts here too, but this guy just really made it interesting. Can't help to explain more since there is no way of you actually being able to talk to him. I'm sure you'd agree afterward.
When I first met him, which was at an exhibition in France (more on that in a sec), I was like, "Oh please, not Civil War fanatics here too!" Then when I seen the stuff he had and he had so much to say it was really interesting. The guy had thousands of pages of pictures and other stuff.
About that exhibition, it was great. They had all these interesting people there that had things from old cars from everywhere in the world to model train cities. Yeah, not sets or little towns, I mean massive cities. Anyway, enough about that. Don't want to hijack the thread.
