Great. Now we're going to have to hear all about how "Charlie Kirk was basically the same as JFK"...
While I'm no fan of Kirk, his assassination should be a lesson. People CAN evolve. We'd be better off if he was alive right now.

Oh, I agree. It's an absolute tragedy he was killed. He didn't deserve that. Nobody does. He definitely deserved a serious ass whooping or two.

Even if just by being publicly embarrassed in debates to the point of losing all credibility and losing his career.

Reality is that ass whooping was coming. He was dodging legit debates right and left and actual debate students who knew their stuff were starting to show up and hand him his ass.

His Cambridge show was a DISASTER. Pretty much any debate that wasn't edited by his own team was bad.

Analysts of oil futures not typically guests on liberal leaning news programs but one was on Chris Hayes last night and was admirably clear. He explained it takes about three weeks for change in oil supply to start reaching full impact because that's about how long it takes tankers, which are not fast, to carry oil from where it was extracted to purchasers in Japan, India, Europe. Three weeks ago Trump launched his temper tantrum war. At that time full tankers were already en route to destinations. Since then little has moved.
Which means in plain English that the full impact hasn't yet been felt but shortly will be.

Meanwhile Saudi Arabia shut down oil wells and Qatar lost 20% of natural gas production. Even if war ended tomorrow, turning things back on isn't like flipping a light switch. It takes weeks, even months, to get fully on line.

I feel sorry for the women in Iran. But I find their liberation as one of the reasons we're in this war with Iran to be laughable. Some of our biggest allies in the Middle East treat their women worse than Iran treats theres', and we are silent.

Hell, there are women in this country who our government is treating far worse than Iran is treating their women.

And that doesn't even include healthcare.

Agree, Extreme Islamism treat women terribly wrong and its part of the their beliefs and doctrines. Not all muslims treat women the same however, only extreme factions. The regime in Iran rules by sharia law and executing a women publicly for not covering herself is done to suppress and put fear inot other women. I don.t find ruling with sharia law, laughable at all, but as a terrible cancer of terrorism of the world and their own people. Im all for the fall of this ruthless regime for the rights and freedom of all Iranians an peace in the mid east. Even the surrounding nations want them gone.
At some point Im sure the US will need to come to Taiwans aide, as China is surely waiting in the weeds. And we should.

But our ally, Saudi Arabia, is Sunni and treats women worse.
