Iran offered to reopen Strait of US ends blockade. Trump doesn't like it because he won't be able to claim a win. Basically return to status quo after all the death and destruction and billions spent. So he does nothing, figuring it will just go away if he doesn't pay attention.

Trump fantasized on Twitter Lite that Iran told him they are in state of collapse and asked him to open Strait of Hormuz. Which he will do soon.
I am not a betting woman but would still wager my house and my cat that never happened.
 
But yesterday Iran was begging Trump to open Strait.
He has zero idea what he is doing and desperate for a a "win" so he can get his ballroom.

Status quo, except much younger, more radical leaders in power who hates the US even more, and has a very legitimate reason to do so. And far more Iranians hate the US.

They will almost certainly develop nukes now. They'd be crazy not to.
