This will be unpopular but can't shake this whole Damian Lillard is overrated feeling.

I hope proves me wrong in years to come. But it's a feeling that is setting in.

He's only in his 2nd year. If he can shoot like he did in the first half of the season and finish like he's been doing lately he's going to be a big time scorer and offensive threat, his assists would also probably go up as well.

I dunno. I don't see him as overated... now that's he's finishing at the rim. I think he really focuses on one thing and then just does it as much as he can, and forgets to implement the rest of it. Next year is going to be his REAL break out year... when he takes a summer off and sees all the tape from this year, he'll see that. I think he's on the right track... his 3rd year could be a real thing of beauty, IMO.

I see no difference between Batum and Mo. Think of their darting rat-in-a-maze styles. Their sometimes-great shooting. Their errors in passing and dribbling.

That, and the refs. They were TERRIBLE on both sides... they'd let obvious contact go, but call ticky tack, then flip it, and change whenever they felt like it. There was no consistency to the game. A typical Brothers' Production on an NBA floor.

Refs are going to be the death of the NBA. Absolutely cannot stand them.

I just think he is limited.

And in the end, that will hurt what he ever achieves.

the reason that we lose the bigames by 3 or fewer.. gives me hope that we can change it in the playoffs.. this is possible.. definetly.. not every match goes wrong for us.. so believe in the matches that we have won in close situations.. this team has the clutch ability but has lost this for a time.. i hope they get it back in the playoffs ore 2 weeks before the playoffs :D:D

ok guys im out for tonight.. Milwaukee game looks like a easy win by 50 points haha:D:D

Hopefully our boys are taking the upcoming game seriously.

Mo is an undersized chucker, a Damon Stoudamire type of player. Batum is at least a good player at this point who just makes a lot of stupid mistakes, which can be fixable theoretically. A lot of his turnovers are due to taking dumb risks and lazy passes with the ball. He is also a dreadful mid-range shooter. If he kept his head in the game and played smarter dare I say he could be an all-star caliber player.

How is he limited? He can shoot from range, get to the basket, he's working on his floater. He doesn't take as many jumpers... he's one of the best FT shooters in the league... his one glaring weakness is on the defensive side of the ball... his offensive game is coming along great.

Agree 100%, I think next year is the year he will put it all together. Plus he sounds hungry too which is awesome.

If you guys watch a Stampede game, you can see the talent. As I said in that thread, we should replace the current Blazer roster with the Stampeders. Kick all these overpaid blowhards out of town.

Now that you're King Crabbe, it's not enough? You also want to be the Pied Piper of Boise?

So. Fing. Annoying.

Yep. Even if we had won, I'd of still said it. They were atrocious.

WE lost the 18 point lead. I want to make that clear, but it doesn't make the piss-poor officiating any less reprehensible.

He's not a great ball-handler. More often than not he struggles to get past his defender. And as we've seen A LOT lately, he can't handle a P/R when the big jumps the screen. He's a great shooter, but aside from that he's an average starting PG.
