Tucker Carlson doesn't broadcast on any of the credible sources that I view. In addition, I just don't have time for additional sources.
I have no idea who the source of your video is so I didn't watch it.
Assuming the video shows a Pulitzer prize winning source making a grievous mistake, I can only say that everyone makes a mistake once in a while. I'll presume that the offending source has apologized for their error.
The true test of credibility is the source having a good track record. We can follow that up with reviewing their releases if we have the time which I really don't. Don't forget, I spend about 30 or more hours a week at the VA hospital and then I get home wiped out. I have to depend on other credible sources to review the work of a particular source telling some particular story. Yeah, pretty near everything needs to be reviewed by someone with expertise and is reputable. Sources that aren't credible don't get any of my valuable time.

It is about an interview done by a Pulitzer Prize winner who was fired from the NYT (corporate media) for speaking out against the Iraq war.

Sorry, but I only go by sources that have been consistently recognized by highly reputable organizations for their excellence in journalism. That's the best I can do. I can't expect everyone to be perfect 100% of the time.

I honestly can't believe you say this stuff.

How can you expect the truth if you only listen to one side of an issue? These guys in the video hate Trump more than the top three Trump haters in this forum. I don't agree with everything they believe but I respect them for telling the truth as they know it to be.

These sources you respect are not what they used to be. That's like saying you only buy stuff at Sears cuz in 1965......

I try restaurants based on Yelp reviews. More than half the time I like them. I don't keep going to one with good reviews if I (me) don't like it.

I use my own judgement.

Change the name and the message is the same you often get from Lanny.
We had a discussion once about where Tsunami's are generated. I stated a source that had them all pinpointed over the past 300 or so years, Oceanography and Seamanship, by Dr. William Van Dorn.

Lanny rejected the source as he didn't have time to read stuff from a dubious source.

Ha! That's Lanny!

The good Dr. was a oceanographer and chairman of Scripps’ Ocean Research Division. It is very difficult to find a man more qualified to speak as an expert in any field.

Well forgive me Bodyman, but I had to give that up with only a partial scan. These dudes and the media take everything literally! I can't for the life of me
understand what made them so lacking in a sense of humor. Trump is at the same time one of our most honest Presidents and the funniest too.
The guy makes me laugh more often than any I can remember, and this is 15 now.

I don't see any evidence for the honesty claim, but I agree about the laughter - I've never laughed at another president anywhere near as often.

The author of the article points out that the WaPo calls things that Trump says misleading when he tells the literal truth.

Trump says "so many jobs have been created since the election" and they call it misleading because Trump didn't say since "my inauguration"

Who has time to fact check the WaPo's 10000 claim?

I do know that a guy picked the most recent 50 things in two categories he knows well and found the WaPo was wrong on 25-27.

The point isn't whether a politician says misleading things. The point is the "media" shouldn't be.

I believe in shining the light and not worshiping the dark. I like reporting that shines a light on hidden corruption. I guess you call it burying your head in the sand, not me.

Not even a realistic comparison. One requires a physical ability in which age eventually makes all basketball players having to retire where as a newspaper could realistically go forever. By the way, last Pulitzer I believe was in 2016. Last time Jordan even played a full season was 2003.

Lastly, do you know why Michael Jordan is retired? Maybe his body is too old. Newspapers don't have old human bodies that can't compete in a physical competition. Apples and Oranges.

Newspapers do have turnover and they DO get bought by people like....I don't know, the world's richest man......

If the National Enquirer started an award 100 years ago and Fox won it 50 times would that make Fox trustworthy? Nope. The Pulitzer Prize means nothing to those who aren't biased like the people who give the awards.

The truth doesn't get awards, but it should. Your 10000 Trump stuff is an opinion piece.

The National Enquirer would have to be highly respected by their journalistic peers to have an award worth a damn and they don't. The Pulitzer prize is the most respected award for print journalism excellence in the United States, bar none.
