I'm talking about potential impact. Wasn't Leonard a big scorer @ SD State? He averaged something like 15/11. I see Jones making a similar transition when he gets to the NBA.

I see Jones as a little bit better version of Marvin Williams. On draft express they have his best case as Al Harrington and worst case as Michael Beasley.

I just hope the Thunder lose the series based on a total BS call, just so I can say, "Tough Shit"

Duncan now says it's realistic to expect him to play another year or two. Three or four years, he thinks, would be a stretch, even in his improved condition. This much is certain: He has little interest in testing the free-agent market when his contract ends after this season, negotiating leverage be damned.

"Though I shouldn't say that; I have to threaten them that I'll leave," he joked. "No … I'm not going anywhere. You can print that wherever you want to. I'm here and I'm a Spur for life."

Every team in the NBA wishes they had a star and leader like this.

It's funny watching the Thunder and Spurs tonight. The Spurs have guys cutting to the basket and most of the Spurs looks are close to the hoop or wide open shots. The Thunder like to play 1-on-1 basketball.

Spurs should win this series.

Spurs are getting every call. Some of the fouls called against the Thunder have been crap. They are giving Manu and Tony every call when they take it to the rim but they arent calling anything when Harden does the same.

i always have to laugh when people say Spurs are boring.

Agreed. What do they want to see? Spurs bball is basketball at its finest.

Most people just want to see a Kobe or Wade dribble around by themselves the entire possession and jacking up some crazy shot.

Pretty pathetic.

God I wish we had Pop.

Pop is one hell of a coach. Interesting how he went out and got Diaw so he could sit Blair's ass on the bench. All you Blazer fans who had a kinipshit when the Blazers passed on Blair can start hoping again. I am sure he will be available soon. Pop likes guys with skills.

Never thought I'd see Hack-a-Splitter in my life... Especially in the third quarter.

You don't do Hack-a-whomever when you're down 20. This is stupid.

OKC getting to the line an insane amount the last 8 or so minutes.

OKC seems to rely on the FT line to extend runs.

this will the the 20th-21st FT for the thunder since there was 4 minutes left in the 3rd.

Simply beautiful basketball by the Spurs. They've got a great chance to sweep the Thunder, no matter what though, I doubt this goes past 5 games. It looks like the Spurs and Miami are on a collision course for each other. Pop is going to exploit that Miami team so bad. If Parker is doing this to Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook, imagine what he'll do to Chalmers.

+1
Fun to watch!

Add me to the list of those really enjoying seeing basketball played the way it's supposed to be. You have to be able to pass the ball in order to play for Pop. Despite the NBA's insistence on marketing All-Stars, quality teamwork beats individual play nearly every time.

I hope you are right but I think it will be a little tougher than that for them. So far the Spurs have played two bad teams on the road in the playoffs. I think the Thunder take both in OKC.

I wonder if KD will get more minutes at PF. There isn't a worse combo to put together than Ibaka and Perk.

That's like pairing Ratliff and Przybilla together back in the day.

S2 favorite DeJuan Blair is probably available on the cheap.

If you want a guy who starts all year and then gets benched when it matters in the playoffs, he's your guy.

OKC confusing the Spurs by switching on pick and rolls. Nice adjustment by Brooks.
