Detroit beats Indiana, and now we own the best record in the league! Whoohoo!

They're only up 3 with 16 seconds left. It's not over yet man.

is the game actually over?

Blazers in sole possession of THE best record in the NBA

Indiana lost to Detroit, in Indy. Meaning, Portland has 1 win up on the Pacers.

Y'all saw the game last night in OT. Detroit met with a rested Pacer team, in Indy, and absolutely destroyed them on the Offensive glass 20-8, and 54-31 on the boards over all. Detroit's gonna end up 3-4 in the East if they can figure out what they want to do.

21-4 #1 in the NBA. It's a GREAT DAY TO BE A BLAZER!!!

Too late, already posted it

the game isn't over (at least, according to espn.com)

Re: Blazers in sole possession of THE best record in the NBA

It's over now.

Seriously folks, I know it's early, but who actually thought we could ever be #1 in the entire nba anytime during the season?

It's pretty damn cool. Now I want to have it for the rest of the season.

#feelingentitledalready

Nobody could have realistically predicted that we would be #1 in the league after 25 games.

Sam Amico just said on Courtside that every single Cav he talked to today said we would finish in the top three in the west.

Even my blind homer self wouldn't think this

I was extremely confident we would finish top 5. I thought it was ridiculous that some people didn't think we'd make the playoffs. I just never thought we'd be top three, but at the top of the entire league at this point? That's just crazy.

That's great! So, the Blazers beat the Pistons on the road on the second night of a back-to-back, while the Pacers lost to them at home when the Pistons were on the second night of a back-to-back and the Pacers hadn't played since Friday. Yeah, I'd say the No. 1 spot has been earned, especially since the Blazer have beaten the Pacers this once already year. Now, can they win out on this road trip and retain the spot? Four games in five nights on the road is a killer.

This is a wonderful season!

The Minny game worries me. Our bigs have tough times against deadly shooting PFs

Yes, indeed it is. About two weeks ago I gave up being cautious or cautiously optimistic (as any sane Blazer fan is wont to be) and decided F*** It! Let's enjoy the ride!

Woot woot! The homer caravan is filling up!

Win Loss column is the only Power Rankings that matter. I'm enjoying the lame stream sports media try and explain their predictions and low expectations away.

Yup. Power Rankings be dammed!

I would also point out that Paul Allen's teams own the best records in both the NBA and the NFL. Must be a great feeling for him.
