Why the fuck did we draft LaRue Martin?

No shit! We could have had Bob Fucking McAdoo from UNC, but instead we took Nobody from Nowehere U.

Martin had a couple decent games in the NCAA tournament, but McAdoo averaged 19.5/10.1 and led UNC to the Final 4, while playing for Dean Smith. Did any player ever average 20 PPG playing for Smith. I know the old joke is, who is the one guy who can hold Michael Jordan to less than 20 PPG? Dean Smith! McAdoo averaged 30/15 in his second NBA season, led the league in scoring three consecutive years, won the MVP and is in the Hall of Fame. LaRue Martin is the answer to a trivia question. He lasted 4 years in the league and his career highs were 7.0 PPG and 5.0 RPG.
