Since Dirk is on my opponents fantasy team, I would prefer he sucks tonight.

What are you trying to tell us?Since Dirk is on my opponents fantasy team, I would prefer he sucks tonight.
Yeah I'm rooting for the Mavs tonight.
But who knows maybe the Grizz lose a few of the others and we need a Mavs loss more next week.
Somebody will lose; its a Win-Win for us!
The Mavs visit Utah on Monday. Best result for us is Dallas winning tonight and losing to the Jazz.
Clips are resting everybody, they didn't even bring half their players to play in UTA tonight.
Sunday is up in air against DAL if they decide to rest again. It is a home game in LA, so you never know.
Yeah Clips play Memphis too. Dallas, Utah, gosh they play everybody. They certainly can rest guys; but at a point you need players to have rhythm; they can't rest everybody every game and just flip a magical switch in the playoffs.
If I were running the Clips I'd have them rest or play halfway in all three games with Utah, Dallas, and Memphis just to make things difficult for us, and then ramp back up for the finale in Phoenix just to tune up for us.
That would make sense if they weren't also trying to re-integrate Blake back into their lineup. They're going to need to play the starters together for significant minutes if they want them all on the same page by the time the playoffs start.

They'd be better served to have Blake sit out the rest of the season. He's not effective right now. I guarantee that after we beat them in the first round, the national narrative will not be about how incredible our overachievment has been, but about how Blake's injury ruined the Clippers' season. That would make sense if they weren't also trying to re-integrate Blake back into their lineup. I say f his fantasy basketball needs too. Let Dirk score 50!Since the Dallas game has actual implications to actual teams I actually like, I say fuck your fantasy basketball needs.![]()

Nooooo we want Dallas to lose tonight. Dallas has tiebreaker against us so they can still get 5th seed. If we want to clinch the 5th seed on Saturday, we need Memphis to WIN tonight.
My bad. We can't clinch tomorrow in any scenario. We still want Dallas to lose tonight cuz that would eliminate them from competition for 5 or 6 seed. We would need one more loss from Memphis on Tuesday. Or if Dallas wins, then a Dallas loss in Utah would get us there. Dallas is hot though. The sooner they lose, the better. Go Memphis.
We wouldn't have clinched then anyway, and instead we'll conch shortly after when Dallas loses to either the Clippers or Jazz.Nooooo we want Dallas to lose tonight. Everyone was freaking out over LAC sitting and tanking their game vs Memphis. Now the question is would the Clips rather play Dallas or Portland. If Dallas, do they tank that game?Yeah; kind of funny we all have to be Clippers fans Sunday.
Will be interesting. I don't think they tank it because they would need Dallas to also win at Utah, also win against the Spurs and us to also lose against Denver; an extremely unlikely outcome. If it was only one game they might; but when it's one of four games they probably just focus on playing well. Dallas also has some proven playoff performers; they aren't the joke Memphis is.Everyone was freaking out over LAC sitting and tanking their game vs Memphis.
