Have any questions you want to ask Wes?

Post them here!

I send them to Casey after All Star weekend.

What did you think Patty Mills was doing when you rolled up on him dressed as Pat Stacks?

My favorite job interview question:
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I don't know, I'm not a fortune teller.
Question part a)
Your addition of a post game has been a delightful surprise from last season, what do you plan on adding to your arsenal next year?
Part b) how many moves do you have to add to take on the nickname inspector gadget?

Wes, do you think the starters are playing too many minutes now that we're halfway through the season? Of the 3rd string bench players, which guy would you say is better than fans think even though he's not playing much?
If you could play another sport, what sport would you choose?

You've incorporated a nice post up game, so, what's the next thing you think you need to improve to get to that next level?

What affect does LA's mid-range game have on an outside shooter? Does it make it harder or easier?

1. You went from undrafted, to barely making the Jazz, to starting for the Jazz, to earning a nice contract as a "3 and D" guy for the Blazers, to now being the third leading scorer on a good playoff team with probably the best post-up game of any shooting guard in the game. Seems like at every stage nobody was predicting the year before that you'd take it to the next stage. Did you always see it coming?

2. What's the next stage? Do you see yourself taking a step up like DeRozan has, where you're always going to be in the discussion for All Star appearances?

3. Is there room on the current team for you to grow into that role? DeRozan only blossomed when p/t was cleared for him. He gets 18 shots/game. You currently get 12.

4. You've never been the guy asked to hold the ball at the top of the key at the end of a quarter. Do you see yourself in that role at some point in your career? Do you want to be that guy, or do you think you are better suited to playing off the ball?

5. Portland is dead last in the entire league in steals per game. Yet you, Batum and Lopez are all widely regarded as good defenders, and Aldridge was DPOY in his conference in college. Does Portland need to change that? How? Do you think steals per game is an important statistic?

hahaha fuckin a. I totally looked before I posted to. Epic fail on my part.

Now that 3 people have asked it hopefully slypokerdog will submit it instead of giving us the red rocket like he did with the Freeland one about his mom hitting harder than bogut

Come on guys, more original.

This is a softball, the answer is obvious, it's easier.

I swear this was addressed recently in an interview that he really wants to try to make a steal and leave his man, but their system says don't and he has to control his desire.

Who is the best card player on the team? (Poker or Bourre)

Have you noticed a big change in the physical training philosophy under the new leadership?

Yeah, I read that interview and I guess I'd like to see him expound on it more.

I was going to ask a question about Pat Stacks. Beat me to it.
I wish I could find that video. The look on his face, and the tone in his voice were hilarious!

EDIT: Never mind, thanks, Eastoff!

Come on guys, we need more questions.

1. What do you plan on doing after retiring from the NBA?

2. Do you think you'll ever coach at some level of basketball: high school, NCAA, or NBA?

I'll have to think of more, Sly. Does that help?

Yes.

What hobby or interest does Wes have that fans wouldn't know about.

What was the nastiest thing KP left in his house?

How did you like playing for the Jazz?

Which of his former Blazer teammates does he consider close friends?

What's the funniest thing that's ever happened on the team plane? In practice? During halftime?
