If Thabeet plays a few inspired games, I could see the Rose Garden blaring that song. I don't know if I can get behind that non-sense. That would be truly annoying to listen to.

What is his deal anyway? A guy his size should be getting at least a couple blocks and over 5 rebounds a game easily, is he really that lazy? Pretty much everyone knew that the Grizzlies massively overreached at drafting him number 2, but i never thought he would be as bad as he has been.

It has to be... He is 7'3". His height alone should make it hard for anyone to shoot. I mean remember that toothpick Bol? He was one of the leading shot blockers, just because he was just too damn tall.

Looking at Thabeet's frame, he seems like he has really small upper frame. His shoulders were about as wide as Kaleb's in the press conference picture. Maybe he just can't get into position? Maybe he doesn't have the strength to move people out? I wonder what his fouling ratio is because he goes over the back? Who knows really.

Here is what a guy on another forum says about him

He's a good shot blocker but that's only because he's tall. He fouls at an extremely high rate, doesn't anticipate the ball coming off the rim well so he's an average rebounder despite his size, and he sucks at everything else.

I never saw him play with the Rockets but he only got worse from his rookie year to his second year.

Seems about right. But like we had with Oden, I think college players, especially bigs, arent used to the speed of the NBA and get a lot of cheap fouls. Not saying Thabeet turns things around, but what he did in the college level, doesn't necessarily translate to the professional level.

I do think all he needs are a string of 5-10 solid games and his energy should go up. The better he can play, the more confidence he can have. Maybe Aldridge invites him to work out with him this off-season? Maybe watching a player with a great off-season work ethic is his remedy.

We got Thabeet

Thabeet goes on

Thabeet on the brat

Thabeet it

You can't stop Thabeet (from Hairspray, and my personal fav)

Well one things for sure.... If the fans chant his name, then he's gone for sure! LMAO!

Thanks for not giving proper credit, after I posted this a few days back.

LOL. I'm not down with O.P.P., unless I don't like ya, or it's Mrs. HCP. It's all good, amigo.

(I'd probably get a lot of boos on here for passing up the opportunity.)

Thanks, dude.

Anyone else find it ironic how we all clowned on Thabeet when Oden murdered him during a dunk, and we recently cut Oden to make room for Thabeet.

Thabeet is terrible, but still playing. Oden looked good, but hasn't played at all.
