We need another starting-caliber C if not Kanter. He needs to be effective on both ends, someone at least as good as Plumlee. Discuss

disagree. Davis is a PF/C and given that he plays good D is likely a good fit playing with Meyers, Plumlee as well, and Vonleh supposedly has potential to be a 2-way player at PFWe need another starting-caliber C if not Kanter. Is Meyers the offensive personality when Leonard is the defensive one?The offensive abilities of a center is only as good as the player throwing them the ball. A good point guard can create easy scoring opportunities for an offense limited center. See Might Mouse to Prybilla PnR for for example.
Batum used Rolo for easy scoring more than Lillard did. This needs to be something that Lillard works on. Just saying we need a center who can score doesn't mean they will if players don't get him the ball. Meyers and Leonard have good hands and can score when given the ball. Getting easier scoring opportunities from the centers we have should be the priority.
