disagree. Davis is a PF/C and given that he plays good D is likely a good fit playing with Meyers, Plumlee as well, and Vonleh supposedly has potential to be a 2-way player at PF

This is our deepest position... we need a backup SF, or preferably a starting SG that can shoot and put Hendo as the backup 3, and then maybe a backup PG. Not another big man.

If we get the right one, one that can take a good share of the offensive load off of Lillard, great. But, we don't need to just get one otherwise. We have three young C's or PF/C's that each have some pretty nice traits that can be developed. This year I don't mind sucking, so if the new center isn't a big step up and the right fit, I'd rather develop what we have.

Outside of PG, we need an upgrade at every position...and we could actually use a better back-up at PG as well. Embrace the grim darkness of our immediate future. The best use of this season is to find out which of our pound puppies are keepers.

My problem with Kanter is he wasn't effective on both ends, and although I would have taken him and hoped he got better with age, 17.5 mil per year is a lot for 24 minutes a game. I like what Plumlee brings and I think Meyers could be a stretch 5 like they are always saying.

I liked the idea of having Kanter and Plumlee at C with Davis and Leonard playing mostly PF. Who can be that player instead of Kanter?

Batum used Rolo for easy scoring more than Lillard did. This needs to be something that Lillard works on. Just saying we need a center who can score doesn't mean they will if players don't get him the ball. Meyers and Plumless have good hands and can score when given the ball. Getting easier scoring opportunities from the centers we have should be the priority.
