I haven't even seen the game but if we drop a double digit lead to lose against the Suns it's on the coach.
I don't trust him, I don't appreciate his decision making, He's a nice guy and I understand why the players seem to like him but we need as coach someone with the same stature as Olshey as GM. Stotts is not the guy.
I've been advocating firing him almost since he got here and I actually can acknowledge the importance of stability and him sticking around for so long but for us to take the next step, we need a better coach

I think we're on number 4 or 5 of you starting a thread on a game you didn't watch.

Correlation is not causation. Do research.

When I advocate for a coaching change, it's for scheme reasons which I thoroughly explain why. You're advocating it based on a preseason game. Posts can't get much dumber than that.

Stotts wasn't trying to win the game. If he were, Pat, Layman and Briscoe wouldn't have been playing almost the whole 4th. Our regulars were destroying them with ease. If you watched the game, you wouldn't be upset, they were up 24 and just lost it when they put in the ball boys.

He was just trying to get a look at the scrubs and figure out who to cut.

Stotts has coached a team that is in rebuilding to the playoffs the past two seasons. Even if barely, last season. I think that's overachieving.

Some people say Stotts is to nice to the players, but if you as an NBA coach piss your players off you're toast, because they make so much more money than the coach, and the coach is seen is much more expendable than the teams top players.

Look at how Utah backed Deron Williams over Jerry Sloan, one of the best coaches of all time, and Deron ended up leaving anyway.

Stotts shouldnt be fired, but he should be given ultimatum
if he doesnt win next two games, then hes out

He was trying to see who was going to produce with that last unit and the only did was Brisico. Layman Pat wasnt good last year or SL. There better players somewhere else that will be cut from other teams.

It was a preseason game.

Our starters played together, looked good, Stotts benched them, which is fine.

Did I mention it was a preseason game?

In the 4th our bench players and rookies got quality time. Suns played their starters.

This was a preseason game.

We have a front office and coach heading into their 6th season together, and as a whole it has been successful, not wild success but if you consider the massive rebuild that was needed in the wake of Aldridge leaving the coaches and FO have done well. Continuity and stability go a long way for a franchise.

It was a pre-season training and evaluation exercise for fucks sake.

Let my post be the last one in the thread so it can die a fiery death.
