Joking aside, if this was even possible, would B-Roy even want to come back? He seems so cold toward Portland now. Just feels like bridges have been burnt from that whole injury/retirement fiasco. Obviously we don't know the whole story.

yeah, we can't trade for Roy until his original contract ended (due to amnesty clause).
If we could, we couldn't trade for him b/c you can't trade a free agent you just signed until December 15 or 90 days after you signed him, whichever comes later (due to CBA)
If we could, having a player with no cartilage in his knees doesn't bode well for a game based on being able to move.
