As a fervent San Francisco Giants fan, I can honestly say that both the team and its fans are a relatively laid back and classy bunch (okay, so BG and I tend to stray from time to time, but at least we're honest about it)....especially considering they've been far and away the best team in MLB so far this decade. So I'm scratching my head over why Warriors fans are such a bag of dicks. It's okay to get pumped and a little bit boisterous when you grab the ring. but true champions always (always) take the high road. Until the Warriors and their fans get that, they will always be pretenders. Not exactly what I expected from a team coached by Steve Kerr. I hope every forum member keeps this kind bullshit behavior in mind when we're finally holding that trophy ourselves......

Sort of my thought too. I was never a big Pippen fan as a Blazer, so why pick Pippen? Just kidding though, just another troll clue.

But about the Blazers with Pippen. The distributor on that team should have been Sabas with Pippen in the movement pattern cutting to the hoop and let Sabas do his real work. Damn that Dunleavy!

We lead all of Game 4 and almost all of Game 5. Steph Curry was playing.

We weren't close to beating GS. We played them hard as hell, and definitely earned a lot of respect, but we still lost in 5 with the best player in the world out for 3 games. It's all good. I never said we were close to beating them, but now that you bring that up, We led 80% of the series. We had the lead in every game in the 4th, except the first.
We competed. GS is a once in a lifetime team and they beat us when they needed to. At the end. That's veteran, championship ball for sure.

The part I highlighted is very inaccurate though unless you add to that. I don't like it when people irrationally pick on the team. Of course not. I don't know many that do.

But I do believe I am a very rational down to earth person regarding the team. The team still has faults/holes to fill to be a true contender, but they are not near as many or glaring as many thought.

What I cant stand is when people say they are a fan and then turn and call the players names and toss personal insults out there.
Ive voiced this before, So I wont go into detail.

A troll came on here to start drama and talk smack and you backed him up to an extent, on something that wasn't accurate. That's all. No more no less.

I'm guessing it's the Front-Runner (aka "Laker Fan") gene. Some people follow "winners" because without that association, they have to accept what losers they really are. Those fuckers are so fucking obnoxious.

As for picking on players, I root for the name on the front of the jersey, not the back. If they happen to be great guys, then awesome, but if they happen to be Sheed, and they help us win, no matter how much of a prick they are, so be that too

He said GS led most of the series. That is not accurate. Its factually not accurate. It really is black and white....

I don't even know what the hell the argument is about anymore. I'm so confused at how you think he was accurate....

Okay you got me. I thought I had also quoted his comment above, which I didn't. This was the basis of my post. I suppose I lumped you in with him erroneously. My fault. But my statements still stand regarding how we led most of the series.

Also. Didn't think I was yelling, but I apologize if it came across that way.

My point was that this troll is way off in saying the games weren't close and GS lead comfortably the majority of the way. I failed in outlining what I was addressing.
 
As for the Warriors, no way they would have won this series with fair and balanced officiating.

Any unbiased video review of the roughly 80-100 "questionable" calls would show we won 4-1, if not 4-0.

For you to agree with it, there must first be a person who actually said that we took them the distance. Has anyone said that? Are we lying to ourselves? The only point of that post was to shit on this team and our fans for feeling good about how we did.

So by agreeing with his silly strawman, you are in essence supporting his stupid attempt at trolling.
 
We at least won games no matter who we were playing or if they were star depleted in the playoffs.
