<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">There have been discussions within the organization, according to two people briefed on the Knicks' conversations, that a deal for Webber could work financially, but no trade has been proposed. When asked if he would welcome such a trade, Webber shook his head and smiled. "I think right now I just have to keep playing," he said.

Webber would have been great but, there really is not any substance to this rumor. But, again Webber would get Sweetney locked up on the bench. So, what if he played center? What would that do to Mohammed. Basically the Knicks had their chance up in 2001 but, he signed with Sacremento. If he did sign with us, we could have been a real force in the NBA and could possibly won a championship. I really see this article being something the media just had to write because of lack of news.
