...^^^thank you... ya gotta love the double standard.

...and ya gotta love the blanket statement about making enough adjustments to turn this team around this year (ain't gonna happen) and somehow turn them into a legit contender...but no clear plan as to how to go about achieving such a magic turnaround.

On top everything what should be upsetting everyone even more is that this farm system is a complete disgrace.

...Mess, how many times over the last few years have we been told how good the farm is ?...how many prospects have been touted as "the future"?

...they either don't pan out, or end up being wasted in the minors for years because there's nowhere for them to play on the ML team because so many positions are already taken by high dollar FAs....or they are traded away.

...if they really wanna make a change, it has to be a drastic change...this involves reassessing and scrutinizing every management position very closely and either "keep 'em or can 'em"...most would be canned.

I'd like to see what Sanchez could eventually do. The injury certainly came at a bad time. Judge to me is a large goon who is showing no ability to be able to hit. He's batting .220 in the minors and is striking out a ton again. Who knows about Mateo would be a couple of years away anyhow. Overall their farm system is ranked very poorly which doesn't give me much confidence in the future other than writing large checks again for free agents.

...good point on Judge, he strikes out way too often...and to me that's where management and coaching have failed miserably...someone needs to work with Judge on simply making contact...as big as he is, the HRs will come naturally...but there's simply no need for him to try and hit a 500 foot HR every time at bat.

Judge's AAA stats from last year and this year combined.

424 ABs .224 15 HRs 53 RBIs 131 Ks

Looks like he would fit right in with this current group.

The New York Giants will use him at tight end in a couple of years.
