I don't know if Vic is back from vacation yet............

RHP - Michael Pineda 2-2 1.82 ERA vs. Scott Feldman 6-9 4.45 ERA

Tonight's lineup...........

Gardner
Jeter
Ellsbury
Teixeira
McCann
Headley
Drew
Prado
Suzuki

Didn't Prado get 3 hits yesterday batting 6th? Can't see dropping him down to the 8th spot. Especially below the 160 hitting Drew. But hey, that's just me. Anyway, GO YANKEES!

1st inning, 2nd & 3rd with 2 outs = nothing.

I thought I was alone here. So far this game has all the makings of another snooze fest. Hopefully by the time I just out of the shower the Yankees are up 5 zip.. Okay so maybe 1 zip

...and a broken record skips and tends to repeat itself.

after last nites loss, girardi should have had done to him what the "waterboy" got after he hit the fine tuned athlete !

...yup, Girardi threw that meatball that resulted in a 3 run HR...he needs an "enima".

Looks like this might be ANOTHER good pitching performance wasted due to lack of offense.

Keep him in Joe, its only been 4 straight hits & 4 runs. the games not out of reach yet.

...lmao...who do you want him to pitch?...do you ever pay attention to previous games?

...but at all costs, keep your hater glasses focussed.

Just checking in on my phone but it looks like the pen imploded again. I take the positive that when healthy Pineda is a solid pitcher. Hopefully he gives it a full season next year.

Monday was an off day, I'd hate to think that the 1st string relievers are to damn fragile that they can't pitch two days in a row. I mean holy shit God forbid.

...not surprised at your reply and it just goes to show you don't know as much about the game and the team and its relievers as you pretend to.
...and oh, did you also forget there's another game tomorrow?...a day game?

...still waiting for you to to say who should have been brought in.

there is no relief (with, on, for) this Yankee team. Take your pick.

Don't question my knowledge of the game, The fact that someone like Warren couldn't come in is a joke. He didn't pitch at all on Sunday, Monday was off & he only threw 12 pitches yesterday. So that's one option. Kelley only threw 4 pitches on Sunday, was off Monday & only threw 10 pitches yesterday. So that's another option. Betances I'll give you, he's the last guy you want to see get over used. Girardi made a bad decision. But god forbid you question anything the guy does.

They've had there opportunities in this game. In the 7th that was at least the 3rd time this game that they had runners on 2nd & 3rd with 2 outs with nothing to show for it.

...sorry, but I do question your knowledge of the game and your myopic second guessing of anything Girardi does....and I'll continue to whenever I think it is warranted.

...if Huff had done his job Rogers would not have been summoned...Pineda too to a degree.

...now, the big question, why weren't you clamoring for a different pitcher BEFORE Rogers was brought in?...never mind, no need to answer. You were too busy complaining about the OFFENSE at the time.

...this season the Yanx's relievers have averaged pitching 3 2/3 innings per game which means the starters only average 5 1/3 innings per start...pretty simple actually.

Because I came out of the shower just in time to see Rogers throw the game away. I missed Huff even being in the game.

But to get off this for a moment, great play by Gardner in left falling into the stands.

Yes I can do the math also. But that STILL doesn't take away the fact that either Warren or Kelley could have been used instead of Huff & Rogers. Right?, right.
