I have to hand it to Rep. Weiner, he's absolutely shameless. I know a lot of cocky pricks in the Tri-State area, but he's the fucking king.
Isn't Eliot Spitzer from NYC?

Why hasn't he resigned? Anyone know? GTFO.
And honestly, I don't care that he tweeted pics of his dick. I care that he lied. I don't care he lied to Washington, as they constantly lie to us... I care he lied to the American people, and mainly to his constituents.
Totally agree... and it wasn't a little white lie or stretching the truth... just one huge flat out lie.
It certainly was. But if you lie about your sex life, should you lose your job? What does one have to do with the other?

What about when you lie, and taxpayer money pays your staffers to lie to protect you?

Is that a hypothetical? I'm not sure how Weiner's staffers would know what he was doing with his weiner. Unless he was tweeting them about it, of course.

Get up to speed on the story. He was putting the women he sexted in touch with staff members who were coaching them on how to lie.
You are such a partisan hack.
the wifey might be pregnant.
birth of the anti-christ? :MARIS61:
Stick a fork in him. He's done.

A cooked Weiner, huh?
The question is whether his constituents will care, really. I don't feel that it's my right or responsibility, as a resident of Seattle, WA, to tell New Yorkers who should be representing them.
If they believe that all politicians lie, and that the vast majority of men are (at some level) dogs--whether they are correct or not--it would make perfect sense for them to reelect/elect him if he can advance their political agenda.
It'll be interesting to see what happens next.

As somebody opposed to Weiner's political ideology, I agree with this. However, if I was a member of the Democratic Party, it wouldn't matter to me if I lived in Seattle, NYC, or Mars, because he has become the face of the Democrats in the past few weeks. This is why more and more Democrats are calling on him to step aside. He's toxic at this point, and not somebody that I would want paraded around by the opposition going into a presidential election.
From a personal viewpoint, I hope he clings onto his seat until the bitter end, because it only serves to turn off independent voters.
Weiner: I’m not resigning
New York Democratic Rep. Anthony Weiner maintained Thursday that he does not plan to resign his seat, despite growing calls from members of his own party for the seven-term congressman to step down in the wake of his admission that he conducted inappropriate online communications with at least six women.
“I’m not,” Weiner told a reporter for the New York Post on Thursday when asked if he planned to resign. “I’m going to get back to work as best I can.”

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Vitter This guy seems familiar, like he did something, but I can't remember what... I know he's been in office for a while. Any ideas? It couldn't have been as bad as sending pictures to women.
