hey i was actually asking you maxiep, is this for real or just some right wing nutjob propaganda bullshit?

hmm, larry craig, broke the law soliciting sex in a public bathroom

chris lee posted pictures of his face and never denied having tried to solicit sex over the internet as a married man

both of these guys were republicans im guessing? the platform of morality and family values? yeah....

Is hypocrisy now the standard? Yeah, the Left is never hypocritical when asking others to pay taxes while avoiding theirs or telling others to sacrifice while they live like pharaohs on the public dime.

As for me, I couldn't give two shits about any of these incidents. Larry Craig is a homosexual? Why should I care? Christopher Lee is having an affair? Okay. Anthony Weiner likes to send dick pics? Not my concern. All I'm saying is that the first two were pilloried while the last is being covered for. As for me, I like consistency in reporting. How about you?

who is living like pharaoh? lol this shit is rich.

and like i said, craig pleaded guilty to a crime, and lee instantly admitted it and resigned...as far as any sane person can tell, weiner had nothing to do with this "scandal", so he IS NOT going to resign...i think that is pretty consistent. if he was guilty, i would be the first to make fun. i mean the dudes name is weiner haha

So, you buy that Weiner's account was hacked? I'm a believer in Occam's Razor. It seems he's searching for the perpetrator of this awful crime with the same zeal OJ Simpson searched every golf course in Florida searching for the murderer of his ex wife and Ron Goldman.

nancy pelosi lol, yeah i watch SNL, shes crazy

and oh my god...are you comparing a double murder to a picture of a mans package on the internet? awful crime? he seems to be amused by it, as is every other sane person in the world. identity theft! lol

People get hacked every day. It's a crime, sure, but it's almost always way more trouble to pursue someone than to let them go.

I'm not a Weiner fan by any means, but this is just not a big deal. There might be hypocrisy in terms of how it's being covered, but is that news to anyone?

Nope. I'm comparing the vigor with which two guilty men try to "find" the real perpetrator of the crime.

People do get hacked every day. However, I'd invite you look at the facts as they've been stated and the reaction by Weiner and the girl once they realized that photo was public. It's awfully curious.

You and I agree that it's not a big deal. I am simply pointing out the hypocrisy. If Anthony Weiner were a Republican representative from Texas, every major news outlet would be on this story like white on rice.

I think your examples are lacking. Christopher Lee resigned almost instantly - maybe he was "pilloried" after that, but there certainly wasn't time to pillory him beforehand. And if I remember correctly Larry Craig's issue didn't even hit the press until a couple of months later, after he had admitted his guilt in court.

You don't find a congressman's Blackberry, Facebook, and Twitter accounts simultaneously being hacked as newsworthy? Some recent college grad is sitting in jail for hacking Sarah Palin's yahoo email. So, Weiner claims he got hacked, but that he regained control of all of the hacked accounts/items in a matter of minutes, and he doesn't want the FBI to investigate the identity of his hacker? Plus, he retained lawyers and is "considering" legal action. That isn't his decision to make, is it?

Mmmmkay. Cool story, Weiner. So he sent a junk shot to some hottie. Just own it if it isn'[t a big deal. Or, if he did get hacked, prosecute the hacker to the fullest extent of the law. I'm thinking he probably made up the hacking excuse before thinking of the ramifications of what an investigation may bring. Filing a false police report would be a start, but what's on his Blackberry is probably a bit embarrassing, and what has been sent from it. So, now he needs to find a way to take back his "hacking" story and hope this thing goes away.

I found this at Democratic Underground, of all places.

What I don't understand is... why they are only considering legal action? This hack was a serious breach of a sitting member of congress. The FBI/Secret Service should have been contacted immediately and any evidence retained. I would have thought it would be automatic, that when a member of congress reports being hacked that there are protocols in place that just happen whether someone wants to pursue things or not. Twitter should have been notified immediately as well so that they could assist (which didn't happen since he never lost his "verified" status as occurs in the case of hacks). This should be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

yeah lets get these hackers! spare no expense! money is not an issue! lets spend whatever we need to! lol, fucking republicans, talk about hypocrisy.

and yeah, when i posted on my buddies facebook he left up, i was a hacker!

Who hacked it? How? Weiner has a top security clearance. My guess is that his lawyers are trying to calm down the FBI before they uncover Weiner's lie about sending his weener. They'll have to tell the truth eventually. It's not a GOP issue. The guy that hacked Palin's Yahoo! account literally went to prison. If a congressman's accounts can be hacked this easily, the FBI should find out why. I don't see how your shenanigans on Facebook compare, because for one, you know the guy you "hacked", and probably told him about it. If you didn't tell him, you're not trustworthy.

No denial = it was his cawk. Not sure why he lied about being hacked; I'm sure his lawyers had to tell the authories that Weiner forgot to mark his cock shot as 'private' when he sent that young lady his bulge.

http://dailycaller.com/2011/05/31/r...uses-to-say-if-lewd-twitter-photo-was-of-him/

Rep. Anthony Weiner refused to answer questions outside his Capitol Hill office about how a photo of an underwear-clad erect penis ended up on his Twitter account over the weekend.

In a brief gaggle with reporters Tuesday, Weiner said he’s done talking about it and refused to say whether the photo was of him.

“I’m not going to talk about this anymore,” the New York Democrat said. ..... I’m going to get back to the conversation I care about.”

The tweet, directed at a Washington State woman, was removed from Weiner’s Twitter account shortly after it was posted Friday. He later said his account was hacked.

Weiner, wearing a coat but no tie, gave a variation of the same answer to multiple questions, including why he hired a lawyer and hasn’t asked law enforcement to investigate his allegations of fraudulent access to his account.

Asked by The Daily Caller if he’s concerned about the seriousness of someone hacking into his account, as has been alleged, Weiner only said: “I’m going to return to working on the things I care about.”

Several television crews had been sitting outside Weiner’s office before the congressman made a statement. An aide for Weiner, who refused to give his name, filmed the congressman’s exchange with a hand-held camera.

Skeptics have countered Weiner’s assertion that his account had been hacked or pranked by questioning why he hasn’t asked the FBI or Capitol Police to investigate or why officials with the U.S. House don’t appear to be more alarmed.

A spokesman for the Capitol Police told TheDC they are not investigating the incident.

Salley Wood a spokesman for the Committee on House Administration said the House doesn’t have any control over members’ use of social media, though House Administration “regularly issues IT security guidance to help Members keep these sites and their content secure.”

ITS AN ACT OF WAR AND TERRORISM BUT LETS MOVE ON ANYWAY AND NEVER SPEAK OF THIS AGAIN.

I don't really think it's newsworthy, no. Facebook friends of mine get phished on a regular basis, and they're not public officials. Unless he's using a hard password, it seems likely that it's just a matter of time until he got hacked. People who don't use hard passwords often share a password between multiple accounts, so multiple hackings are pretty common.

If he has his shit together, someone would have let him know almost immediately that he was hacked and then he could change his password and he's no longer hacked. No big deal in any case.

Worst case scenario: he was having an affair and he's lying to cover it up. That's simply not a big deal to me. He's not my representative and I don't think it's really my business.

Weiner tagged his Twitpic as public. No big deal; I just don't see why he has to claim it was a "hacker".

I want this penis apprehended! Dont waterboard him tho, he likes it wet

Nothing worse than a sore wiener.

Or he could be being told to not answer any questions by his lawyer.

Yeah, that's my guess, but the ask the media to respect his silence is a bit arrogant. He Tweeted dick shots, and it's coming out that he has Tweeted some to other women as well.

Weiner is proud of his weener. Just own it, and I don't care.

LOL

This pervert won't even answer a simple question.

for someone who doesn't think it's a big deal, you sure seem to keep whining about it.
