Weird (and Troubling?) Andre Miller Fact

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

It's not solely Miller's fault.

But enough his fault that he might bring his "losing pattern" to the Blazers, thereby causing a team good enough to win to actually lose due to his presence and his pattern, hence the potentially troubling aspect to the trivia fact?

I don't see how I could be making a strawman when I've only been asking you questions. I think you're angry. About something!

It's not solely Miller's fault. Now you're just being boring; mailing it in, if you will, with the strawmen.

He was a part of those teams as their starting PG; hence, he takes some blame for the losses.

Later!

Why does he have to take blame for the losses, what if those teams would have done worse without him? Maybe he made all the players around him better, got them shots ect. You're playing the "read between the lines" game, and when people point out what you're getting at you act as if they're putting words in your mouth, when really they're just making logical conclusions. Have fun setting your little "traps"

A guy that advocated for waiving Andre at the trade deadline is clearly not capable of rational discussion when it comes to Miller. He is either a very bad judge of talent, which makes his opinion about that player irrelevant, or he just makes stuff up to hack people off.

Funny thing, Miller took his team to the Championship in college basketball.... how many players can claim that? So how come he was successful in college but not in the NBA?

I didn't give an opinion about the fact posted in this thread about Miller not winning a first-round series, and I didn't make up that fact.

Dumb post.

Both, actually.

You felt it was potentially troubling, which means you felt it had some bearing on Miller and his impact on the Blazers. If you didn't, it wouldn't be (potentially) troubling. It would be just be weird.

QED, buddy. QED.

For a long time I thought PapaG's real name was :dunno.:

Saying Dre is a 'proven loser' IS an opinion about the fact posted in this thread. DUMB REPLY.

Beyond that, who said my comment was limited to this thread? On many occations you have indicated that Dre sucks, not the least of which was advocating to waive him at the trade deadline. I can understand why you would want to avoid answering for such an ignorant position, but you said it, and you should own it.

So, given the above, do your statements come from your utter inability to judge talent, or do you just like to piss people off....you know, like a troll?

:dunno:

He is a "proven loser" in the NBA, though, at least in the playoffs,in my opinion. You could apologize for saying I made up a fact, but I know that won't happen, so we'll continue this roundy-round, and I'll consider you to be baiting/trolling me. :)

I hope 'Dre can lead this team to a series win as their PG. Do you question that opinion as well?

Well, there's your opinion, for about the fifth time in this thread. Thanks for sharing it, again.

Maybe you could quote where I said you made up a fact. If you can't, you could apologize for saying I made up something you said, but I know that won't happen, so we'll continue this silly ass game of yours. :)

Better yet, you could try something completely different, and man up about the stupid shit you've said about Dre.

In a previous post, you tried to deny that you stated an opinion on the fact you posted (that Dre has never won a PO game). When you said that he is a proven loser, that was stating an opinion. Even you say that, above. I simply pointed out that what you said before was bull crap.

I hope 'Dre can lead this team to a series win as their PG. Do you question that opinion as well?
Again, I questioned you saying you didn't state any opinion, when you clearly did. Try to follow the bouncing ball, will ya? I think you've answered the question of whether you can't judge talent, or you are a troll. Boob was right, it's both.

Please tell me what I made up in this thread, or any thread, Troll.

No, it was your opinion. I didn't make the thread title.

So, had I posted (or Positive?), it would have made a difference? Because maybe an all-time great player like Andre Miller is going to finally buck the odds against him?

You really are better than this, and the problem for you is, I'm just as smart as you are. So, you do your strawman thing, and I'll just scratch at that post. :)

Well, what did I make up in this thread?

For someone that loves to call people out for their reading comprehension, you are really SLOW.

You could apologize for saying I made up a fact,...

Maybe you could quote where I said you made up a fact. If you can't, you could apologize for saying I made up something you said....

You didn't quote where I said anything like that. Can we agree, then, that I didn't say that you made up a fact? If we agree on that, then I would say that is how you made stuff up in this thread.

So, in answer to your question, I'll keep it simple. You claimed, "I (oldguy) said you made up a fact". You made that up. I didn't say that.

Please tell me what I made up in this thread, or any thread, Troll.

You're still stuck in compound low, reading comprehension-wise. My sentence was an either/or statement. If you're sure that you don't make stuff up, (well, except for the time above) then you ARE a very bad judge of talent.

I don't see myself as a troll. A stalker? Maybe, but not a troll.

You win. Congrats. Post whatever else you need to to feel better about it.

I'm just celebrating a big win by the Blazers.

So, had I posted (or Positive?), it would have made a difference?

It would have changed the conclusion you were making about the weird fact, yes. :) But that isn't the conclusion you actually posted.

Anyway, we can all agree that it's awesome to have a fine point guard like Andre Miller on this team, trying to help the team win! :)

I really thought this was the year for Miller to get this monkey off of his back.

Best of luck to him next year as a back-up PG on a title contender.

who are we going to pick up to push him to the bench? ;)
