Weird comparrison: Aldridge vs. Bosh

Bosh did it in 4 less minutes per game.

Bosh got his numbers in less minutes that year, but I think that the important difference is how they get their minutes. Bosh is a small-forward in a power-forward body, LMA is finally playing like a true big man, in the post and allowing the team to play inside-out.

It's hard to compare player numbers because you have to take into account style of play. Our team plays at a lot slower pace than most. Also, look at who is alongside the guy. I would argue that Portland is better than Toronto at the relevant time.

That Toronto team was only faster by 2 possessions per game than the Blazers. Anyway, given that the Blazers are fantastic at offensive rebounds - I would rather look at the FGA - does it really matter if a team gets it's shots by having more "technical possessions" or by rebounds? The Blazers, like the Raptors of that year - are middle of the road when it comes to field-goal attempts - both are close to 80 FGA per game.
