It wasn't capitalism if there were regulations.

So stand up that strawman and beat it up all you want.

Capitalism doesn't socialize the risk or the rewards. Business doesn't take on absurd risk if the government is not going to bail them out. The crisis would not have happened because the poor risk loans would never have been made.

Businesses played by social democracy rules and they fucked us all.

Spin it all you want but this is just complete bullshit. Until you can explain to the name and what a derivative is then you might as well just quit while you're behind. Unfettered capitalism is the reason. Rules that were created by the corporations that ran amok with our economy. You can keep defending them if you want Denny.

Yeah capitalism did that shit

No no no. That was bleeding hearts, fucking up the system, trying to get people that can not afford houses, into houses. That is about as anti capitalist as you can get, as a result the shit hit the fan and down came the whole phony bubble.

It's bullshit.

SPD mines $1 in gold. He gives it to you to paint his fence. You give it to HCP to mow your yard.

SPD doesn't have $1, nor do you. There is only the one $1, and the rich guy has it and the other two have no money at all.

$1 is $1.

It wasnt unfettered. Corporations are run by government rules and regulations.

You cannot pretend they don't exist. They're never a good idea nor work as intended, but they are there.

Hundreds of thousands of pages of rules means "unfettered?" LOL

Spot on Denny! But then the government taxed it three times so it looks bigger, but it isn't because the government took so much of it in three bites. One more bite and they have it all.

The Affordable Care Act was written by the Heritage Foundation. Mandate and all. The corporation's write the rules and pay the politicians to vote for those rules. Bohener wasn't handing out checks on the House floor to nobody. He was the handing them to the paid shills.

Even worse is two guys each did $1 worth of work. That's $2 of work for $1 in pay.

No republican voted for it. You crack me up.

No you crack me up. They were for it before they were against it. They only voted against it because Obama wanted to pass it. They were certainly for it when Bob Dole offered it up against Hillary care. Stop trying to rewrite history. The Affordable Care Act is a Republican plan and always has been. It's purely politics as to why they did not vote for it. And you know this Denny!

If the insurance companies owned them, they would have voted for it.

Huge hole in your theory there.

That's why you crack me up.

More crap. Them voting against it was purely symbolic. Obama had the votes to pass it and he did. They voted against it for show. It might as well be in an episode of House of Cards.

I'm not following your line of thinking.

Corporations own the government, particularly republicans (no doubt), but the republicans voted against the transfer of vast sums of taxpayer money directly to those corporations. The guys who regulate the shit out of the corporations and whine about any reregulation are the ones who voted for it. More fettered capitalism in action.

I'm closing this thread until after the game.

He didn't have the votes. It wasn't passed as any other law is - by vote and reconciliation between house and senate versions. A parliamentary gimmick.

Didn't you see it happen in real time?

It's not crystal clear how the Democrats will use budget reconciliation to get to the healthcare-reform finish line. Right now, each chamber of Congress has passed a reform bill, and normally the 2 bills would be blended into a single piece of legislation that would come before the House and Senate for a final vote. A likely possibility, envisioned by the White House, is for the House to approve the Senate's reform legislation as-is, with the House coming back afterward with revisions that the Senate would incorporate through budget reconciliation. President Obama wants the House to approve the Senate bill before March 18, when he leaves on a trip to Australia and Indonesia.

Only ones about tape worms that are made during commercials. Your poor people hate rants can wait until after the game.
Don't read ot threads if it bothers you so much.

We don't tell people not to post what or when they want.

You have a lot of weird assertions in this post.
Weird assertions?

When I read idiotic assertions that a dollar spent on handouts creates a dollar and 73 cents I wonder what kind of moron can say such crap with a straight face.

See, they probably mean that the recipient of the freebies is gonna throw in some of the money they make selling weed in when they spend it.

Who knows?

If you read my post about the myths of SNAP benefits you will see that he really didn't know what he was talking about. That's a far cry from telling someone that they're full of shit.

Body man also doesn't seem to understand the economics of the $1 turning into $1.73 of economic stimulus.
If it's so amazing let's give them 10000 trillion dollars. I think you read things and don't understand them. It doesn't create shit. Think logically.

Okay Laker Denny, you can post here now.

Oh man! If you could make that happen, make a feeling person think logically, the world would be different by tomorrow night.
If I could get my wife to quit going full Mags over things she reads on Facebook I could then tackle this issue. Sadly it may never happen.
