As long as it is on offense. On defense, it's just as lopsided the other way. And remember, Dame spoke so highly of Meyers at Draft time. Appreciate the loyalty, but sometimes it is blind.

I actually liked Gabriel. For spot minutes. I think he could be a disruptive defender. I mean he was a pest to Anthony Davis before he’d pick up tons of fouls real quick.

But I don’t think he’ll ever be a real meaningful player outside of just spot minutes.

Again, we have no idea of what Gabriel can become.

IMHO, Melo has zero to do with this. We dumped Gabriel (and buried Little) in favor of Oden 2.0. Whatever theoretical value Giles might have is eclipsed by his injury concerns. Signing him was not a "win now" move. This was more taking on a charity case.

this is a bit harsh. Giles actually has better numbers and an equivalent injury history to Collins.
