Sharpe with an absolute banger:

29pts, 7 boards, 5 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks. Those are Prime Drexler numbers and he's 20!!!

We have a bright future folks. This is probably Sharpe's biggest ever game because it mattered, the Pistons were at home and doing very well, and Sharpe did it against other starters with great efficiency and stepped up his game noticeably in response to Scoot going out. Scoot was totally finding his groove right up to the point he twisted his ankle.

Camara and Ayton were also bright spots tonight!

Ayton with 16 points, 11 boards, an assist and 5(!!!) Steals. Amazing!

Got a good chance against MEM, but they might be really hungry for a win.

If we play this well over the next couple of games we might find ourselves above .500 for the first and last time this season. I think even if we take both games off of Memphis we'll likely lose all but one or two lucky ones over the next 17.
Whoa whoa..... Easy.

We didn't exactly beat good teams here in Toronto and Detroit.

Man, imagine watching Shaedon Sharpe as a Rockets fan while the dude you drafted (over Mobley, Barnes, Giddey, Wagner, and a whole bunch of other guys) seemingly hasn’t improved at all.

I just said that even if we do get a win or two against Memphis who hasn't looked good, then we'll likely lose every game after that until Washington on Dec. 21. I agree that our wins aren't very impressive. I do think that Toronto will end up being decent the fact is that we got lucky against them. They're a good shooting team that missed a ton of threes and a lot more than three of them were wide fucking open.

He had 11 and 7 in just 20 mins tonight
I predicted he'd have a break out game tonight and he totally did right up to the point he twisted his ankle. :-/
7 assists on 3 TOs is quite good for any point guard, excellent for a teenage PG. I like how he's trending.
Exactly, if he had played 30 minutes he has a double double for sure with low TO's.

Just wanted to add that we were down by around 20 at one point, so clutch, as well.

I just really want to sweep the Bucks this season! Lillard shot 25% from deep tonight in a blowout loss to Toronto and ended with 15 pts...they are on a two game losing streak and the team we just beat blew them out of the gym. I like our chances.

I'm just so proud of this team. It's early, but they could have easily folded these last 2 games. By all accounts they should have lost and they found a way to win. Great boost of confidence and I'd love to be a fly on the wall on the plane ride home tonight. Let's hope this intensity is matched in these next 2 games against Memphis... because the road games after will be brutal.

Shaedon Sharpe was an insane steal in the 2022 NBA draft and I am grateful for our fortune. It hasn't always worked out in the past.

Glad it worked in our favor this time. Imagine being a Pistons fan tonight. Sharpe and Cunningham would’ve been a VERY good and VERY tall backcourt. Meanwhile, Ivey is still on the bench for Killian Hayes for some reason.
