Preseason rankings had him at 12th.

Glad to see Wes have the success and the recognition. He is playing great ball.

He seems to be making really good decisions on his drives and his post-ups are very productive too.

I'd like to see him, Dame and Nic in the 3 point contest!

Nic is shooting the second worst percentage of his career.. There's no way he belongs in the 3 point contest.

They usually take the players who are leading in 3s made. I thought he was up on the list for league leaders.

It's really disturbing to see a picture of a smiling wes and then your signature, HCP.

Dang I wish you hadn't pointed that out. It was bad enough already.

I'm the opposite--I think Dame + Wes v. Steph Curry + KlayKlay would be epic.

That exactly what you can do. You have to reach for the ball anyway...why not reach out, pick up the ball and step back?

I just don't think it's his game. Dorell Wright would do well in the 3pt shootout.

Some guys like Babbitt and Martell should do well in the 3-pt contest, and less well in games. Others who rely on intensity and rhythm may be the other way around. Wes? IDK. How's he in practice?

He was much worse than Babbitt when the two held 3-point shot contests in practices. Babbitt never missed.

Wes is ranked 2nd for all SG's behind only Harden on WARP for the year. The ranking he is 4th in is a composite that includes preseason projections.

Glad to see Wes is getting noticed. He's having a great year.

Until the shots counted in the game then he missed all the time and the person he was guarding became the guy who could not miss.

Of all our players he took the biggest step forward this season. He's much more effective attacking the paint than in previous seasons.

This is the first season in a long time that Wes is playing on healthy ankles. I've got to think that has had a pretty significant influence on his improved play.

You can't step back and shoot the 3 ball in the 3pt shootout.

You say this like you never watch games. Wesley probably steps back on MAYBE 10% of his 3s. The most are taken in rhythm, with an excellent pass to the wing or corner.
