Thing is he wanted it from someone but Wes isn't exactly in a hurry to jump to SAC. Can't blame him...
 
Good for Wes! He was my favorite Blazer in the modern era. Hope he can play all 3 years!

I like what Wes brought to the table, but that deal is a horrible risk.
 
I get the Kings channel down here, so I guess at least I'll get to watch him?

I knew somebody would throw big money at Wes but thought it'd be the Lakers or Mavs...the Kings, that one shocked me

I was just using that as an example, go back and read through the Wes contract thread. More than one person saying that all Wes would get would be a one year contract at $8 mill.

Here's the crazy thing - the following scenario isn't only possible, but maybe even likely:

1) Wes gets injured
2) DMC gets into fight with Rondo
3) DMC asks for trade
4) Sac doesn't get enough for DMC
5) team is screwed for 3-5 years.
 
Sac is probably thinking 12 mil for his basketball skills, and 3 mil more for mentoring Boogie
 
Terrible move for Wes, but money talks. I am glad he gets to be coached by George Karl, I think that will be a great fit. Congrats Wes..kinda

This is a good move for the Kings and Wes. DMC is a maniac about playing hard and committing to the game, same as Wes. But DMC is also walking a razors edge of crazy, but Wes is a zen badass. DMC will respect the hell out of Wes because he plays so hard, so DMC might finally let himself be mentored. And Wes gets PAID!

I still don't see how this is good for Wes? Playoff team to bottom list. Cousins is a wreck, and is not a team player. He's about himself and that's it...the only good thing is that wes is making a ridiculous amount of money.

3 years 45 mill...Kings are taking a risk...he might not be the same player or worse if he tries to much too soon his ankle could do another gumby.

Ha! apparently Wes is using Sac to get a larger contract from Dallas. Of course earlier Sac did a many + draft pick for cap space to sign Wes.
