By that definition any shot with a trailer who fouls is committing a clear path foul. The spirit behind the rule is important and it was clear Dame had defensive position before attempting to foul. Also, there was no possession change in between when Dame had position and when he fell behind.

Clear path also means there is no other defender between a scorer and the basket. That's why it was a clear path foul.

I agree Aminu is playing awful and deserves criticism and to be benched, but do we forget he's fasting like Kanter too? Seems Kanter is getting more of a pass. I get that Aminu wasn't playing that well before, but he's done a lot for us to get us this far as well. Just my two cents as a semi Aminu apologist.
