Van Gundy was analyzing his ass off tonight. It's love to get that guy.

I want a proven veteran. Gundy it's that guy.
Van Gundy is not gonna give up his cushy job to coach Portland. Never in a million years.

Its hard to say this because theyve accomplished a lot this year without Nurk, but they've gotta break up this team, and move on from Stotts. In this series they were up 17,19, and 17 points and LOST those leads in minutes and LOST those games.
I really like this team, I respect those guys what they've done this year, but its pretty clear that like what Lebron did to teams out east, Like the Raptors, Indy, Washington, even Boston. GS has broken the Blazers.
I hate to say it but even a Healthy Nurk cant help them if Dame / CJ just looked lost when it matters.
Hats off to the Blazers, Dame, CJ, Stotts, all of them for an incredibly fun ride this year, but I think its pretty obvious they know they cant beat GS and they need a radically different team that isnt broken to challenge them.

I thought Myers was a great playmaker also; would have had more assists if more cuts had cut to the basket.

Yeah he helped open up or offense but no Stotts refuses to go back to him in the second half...play through him...get him shots.

Gotta find some forwards with better IQ on both ends.

If we had them, Stotts wouldn't feel the need to play Turner.

And those calling for Collins, he fucked up in pnr and where to be on O too many times to really be relied on in this game. His time will come though.

Grant Williams, Chuma Okeke, Justise Winlow would be a few guy in draft/trade to target for me.

Nice job Leonard led the 1st united in the offensive and Zach in 11 minutes with 10 points and some good defensive.

You'd think Stotts would have played him more. But nah why do that when you have the best bench player in the game in Evan Turner.

The one who should've been guarding The Donkey all night.

Zach coulda got that fool thrown out...

This series AGAIN is on Terry.

He threw game one away.

He instituted a good game plan on game 2 but you shouldn't play the same defense all game and frankly that's a defense you should've put in during Training Camp.

You know... Basic shit...
Yup. With a good head coach were up 3-1 right now. I honestly believe that.

Collins defense and size would alone be worth playing over Turner though. Turner didn’t do jack shit for us in OT. We couldn’t rebound with him.

Stotts now 1-12 in the Playoffs against the Warriors.

Clippers won twice as many games against the Warriors this year as Stotts has in his entire career. SMH at the ineptness to change, adjust or innovate.

Yeah...the Clippers with a less talented team took two games off the Champs with KD. I know the Warriors were cruising in that series but they were definitely cruising in this game as well.

Overall, fun season for sure. No one can take away the shot, and a WCF berth. But I hope this series shows how far away to a championship we actually are, and that Stotts is not the coach to take us there.

However, I'm almost 100% sure Stotts bought himself another season with this WCF run. *SIGH*

Yeah, I get what you’re feeling, but none of that is going to happen. Get Nurk healthy, re-sign Hood, kiss Kanter goodbye, find an upgrade at the wing and lace them up again.

Don't worry.
Next year here are the adjustments Stotts will make. He just texted me.

- Sag big every play.
- Start ET.
- Bench Nards.
- Stagger Lillard & CJ's minutes.
- Run less.
- Play ET at the 4 with the second unit because giving up offensive rebounds don't matter.

Update.
- Make sure Collins isn't defending someone who can score. As he's a poor on ball defender.

Update #2.
- Shoot more threes. Especially when they're not falling.

Golden State are just that much better than Portland right now.

And Steph dominated.

Stats AND impact it really isn't close -- Dame is a poor man's Steph.

Sadly, it's true. Even without Durant, Iggy, and even Cousins....on the road, they were just better. (and certainly better coached)

Watching this offensive I am surprised we actually made this far this totally a bad half court offensive but guess Nurk playing it built around 3 players.

Motion offense involving a whole team wins. We lost 3 games up 17 because our offense got demolished in crunch time. We didn’t go cold. We got shut down. Nurk would have helped a ton on D and some on O. But we need to change our offense.

NOTE TO OLSHEY: If you think waiting until KD leaves before we make our championship run is a good idea, newsflash, they still have Steph, Klay, and Dray. And they just 4-0ed us.
We beat this team with a healthy Nurk.

So much this!!

They’ll lose again though if they even make it this far because they’re just broken vs this team. Its so mental, one team knows they can turn it on for 5 minutes and win and the other team knows that whatever lead they get doesnt matter.

I know that the team wont do anything, but they should because this group has had their will snapped in half by GS.

It showed me that we’re pretty damn close to be honest.

Changing our offense means getting rid of Stotts and i would gladly pack up his office for him and drive his ass to the airport and thank him for his time in Portland then make sure he could never return and make us watch his offense ever again.

Think we could get a new soda machine in the locker room and 100 bucks for Turner? I’d do it in a second

I guess you haven't watched Collins very closely in these playoffs.
