That's what Dave Joerger said after the game. I love it. They're worried.

Add the quotation mark at the end of the thread title, please.

lol. They are being kind. They aren't worried at all. It may go 6, though, which will keep my prediction in tack. :P

Kind words after they finally turned off the steamroller.

And why would he say that to be kind? CJ IS giving them lots of trouble.

I hope they out Allen on CJ, then Dame can feast.

I think he has already tried that. At one point in the 4th after CJ laid one in with his left hand with Courtney Lee draped all over him, ( I loved that play) I saw Allen covering him soon after. But then Dame got hot and they switched him back.

Well, CJ seriously sucked for the first 2 games, but he's worked something out. He and Leonard are the bright spots. He has really figured out the speed of the NBA game. I still hope he works on his PG game in the summer - he can be our new Danny Ainge.

Meanwhile, Afflalo is going in the opposite direction, fast. He's averaging -16 in the games he's been in! Tell me he's not signed for next season - please?

AA gets a pass. He came from back from injury in the playoffs with no chance to find his rhythm.

I agree. Actually i think he came back too soon and is playing hurt. Legs are there but his shot is way short.

Cj is breaking faces and hearts out there, all the peeps who thought he was garbage need to just stop with the prospect talk in the future.

AA is a warrior, plain and simple. Giving it all he has.

I don't think people understand the concept of playing hurt.
It is evident. You can have a decent game or two but you are still hurt and your next game will probably suck. Same goes for LMA, Dame, Batum, and Rolo at times. They may not be all that hurt currently but they were and it still lingers at the most inopportune times.

An off-season of rest for everyone would sure be nice but no giving up now!

Wes would be out there right now if he could, and people would be saying, "what's wrong with Wes? He sucks."

The original thought was that Afflalo was out for the rest of the year. Thankfully he wasn't hurt that bad, but a shoulder injury is no joke.

That is exactly my point. He came back in game 3 and it was evident he was not playing well. He played 26 mins in game 3. but only 18 mins last night. The guy can "Be a Warrior" all he wants but in the end a healthy player is going to be more effective. Pretty evident last night.

That is on the coach not AA (or AAA if you rather) though.

Now look at the entire year with Nicolas Batum? This guy tried to play all year through injury and never got going again.

AA is actually more correct but the idea behind AAA was like the old standard. Saving the day type thing the AAA (the company) is known for. The problem is most people now days just make it out to be only old People need AAA and really most insurances now have road side assistance. Pretty funny actually. Maybe he should get on with the Spurs????

Love how CJ startled Joerger by coming over and talking to him during the game.

It's assumed he apologized for what happened to Conley, and it looks he made quite the impression on him overall.

CJ is the man, can wait until he becomes even more reliable.

McCollum is what we need right now. Stotts has to play the hot hand.

If Afflalo had been good for us AT ALL this season, then I would think differently. As it is, he's a poor fit, and we can certainly use that money better elsewhere. Even if Wes didn't come back, I'd want a taller player.

Again I ask: where are all the people who used to trumpet PER as the judge of a player? What's been Afflalo's PER as a Blazer?
