Contrary to Sly's bias about blaming one person...This comment has been "Pending" for hours because it isn't politically correct.

The SWAT officer who pulled the trigger is to blame. The person who called the fake incident into the police is to blame. The person who passed along the victim’s address is to blame.

Those statements are not mutually exclusive. If you disagree, I find you to be less than human.

Swatting is a rally fucked up thing that’s been happening in the gaming world for years luckily nobody has died until this. Wasn’t even the right address either. This kid in the interview talks about how he has no parents, obviously related to his need for attention and doing this shit. He’s detached. Definitely something mental going on. I also have seen the video of this guy getting shot and I honestly can’t figure out why he even got shot. The cop who shot him says he thought he was reaching for a gun but this was way across the street for the cop to be seeing this. Seems the cop made a shitty decision too honestly. All around bad situation

Is there no protocol for an event like this? Like maybe CALLING THE RESIDENCE TO DO A WELFARE CHECK BEFORE BLASTING MOTHERFUCKERS?

I'm sorry but once again the police are at fault here. The "swatter" is a fucking moron and needs to be charged with something, but these cops are out of control with their weapons. Complete lack of organization stemming from what is essentially a prank call resulted in a young man losing his life. Cops get your shit together.

1) Why does the Swat Team have such a hair trigger response? Because they love to kill?

2) Is freedom of speech possible in a police state? Twitter and Facebook always delete the account of anyone who does anything controversial. This was saved before Twitter deleted the account.

Proverbs 16:18-19
Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.19Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

Reminds me of all the liberal hyper intellectuals who claim all trump voters are brain dead morons.

Honest question. Does Twitter delete the entire thing or just remove it?

Don't know anything about how that works but if they delete the entire thing and we only have it because someone else saved it that wouldn't be good.

I don't know much about Twitter. But when I read articles (like in the recent sex purges, after a man would get fired), they often say that the Twitter account was deleted (they use that word) but someone saved an image, and here it is.

For example, the article I linked above said that. I copied that image from the article.

WTF? Stupid fucking people. That "swatter" should go to prison for the rest of his life and that cop should too.

The swatter douche needs death, I watched the shooting and I saw something right before he shot him. Cop won't get convicted of anything even though it was obviously a terrible mistake.

Cop thinks this is a real hostage situation, sees the guy move and bam. Fucked up for sure.

Why was it merely a terrible mistake for the itchy-fingered policeman who intended someone to die, but a murder charge for the joker who didn't intend someone to die?
