So much for the so called basketball purgatory we're saddled with for years! Crow café is now serving! It's a good day to be a HOMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This series is far from over but a WCF appearance is a pretty good watermark. Also Nurkic will hopefully be back next year.Enjoy it while you can. With Kanter/Hood/Curry/Aminu likely to leave and no way to replace them, this could be our high water mark for several seasons.
Yep, far from over, if we win tomorrow however, I think we close it out in Mile High. This series is far from over but a WCF appearance is a pretty good watermark. Also Nurkic will hopefully be back next year.
I guess my point is, I am enjoying it while I can.
I dont know, that game last night felt like two heavy weight hitters throwing haymakers and no one giving an inch. I was so proud of how the Blazers handled it, but also have gained a lot of respect for Malone and most of the Denver players. I dont think I’ll count those guys out until its over.Yep, far from over, if we win tomorrow however, I think we close it out in Mile High.

I've learned to enjoy a game at a time without expecting anything....then you win like last night and it's so much sweeter...Denver is getting worn down.I don't, however, expect Denver to lose at home in game 5
every year we hear this...not buying it. Our desirability factor as a destination is changing right before our eyes....We have two expiring contracts...all we need is a couple 1 year commitments with promise of a bigger deal the following season. Enes has made almost 100mil in his career already thanks to the Blazers...I could see him signing for a big paycut on a one year deal ...Hood will play here for peanuts at this point as well I think. I'd say Layman walks.this could be our high water mark for several seasons.

You're lucky bro.Whats really fun is this is the most my GF has been into basketball. She didnt understand the way playoffs worked this year because the last two years she just knows we did terribly. Now shes getting excited with me and its fun to share this with her.
Shes a CNA and works nightshift so I was constantly updating her on the game tonight for her. Nice to have

The team is doing better than expected this season, and that's great. I just wish they were in a position to build on this success.
Wut? We’re doing this without our starting BEAST at center! I’m fairly confident we’ll get one of Kanter/Hood/Curry back next year as well. We are looking FINE for the next few years!
Winning 6 playoff games is the most since 2000!
So already our best season in 20 years, hope we get a few more wins!
Kanter is coming back super cheap for one year, then getting his next big contract the year after. It just makes WAY too much sense for him if he loves this place as much as he says he does.
If Kanter / Hood /Curry get great offers I wont fault any of them for leaving. With injuries and how short NBA careers can be I absolutely understand making the money while you can.
I think there is a good chance the Blazers keep at least one of them.
Depends what he gets offered, if someone wants to give him 4 years 70-80M or something like that he should take it. Its a job at the end of the day. They work for money. I would absolutely not lose respect for a guy deciding to get paid. I hope he stays but its so much easier for us to say he should leave money especially millions on the table, when were not having to do it ourselves.I would on Kanter. He made money already. And i don't think he is all that materialistic. I think the only way money would drive him is if he knows he can funnel it to his family. Which i don't think he can.
This guy lives real life struggles. I think happiness is more important to him than money.
He has said these things basically. If he then signed somewhere else for a big pay day i would be disappointed and lose a little respect for his character.
Agsin, unless its known the money is going towards his. Causes and not his house and garages. (Lots of hot rods and stuff)
He has already said as much
Either way, no matter whose jersey he wears next year, standing ovations are in order.Depends what he gets offered, if someone wants to give him 4 years 70-80M or something like that he should take it.
