Really...again...what is there to say?

As a goalie coach, before the board kills me, no I did not play in the NHL or professional, I coach 7-10 year olds...Hank always seems off like it is never a big deal. Watching his body language and angels overall, something is not right. Similar to the way he played against Montreal until he got that monkey off his back...just my two cents and starting a discussion.

Marty gets a lot of crap from some on this board for piling up the wins during the clutch and grab era but there were few goalies as technically sound. You would have to review a lot of game tape to find a goal a team scored where Marty didn't get against the post quickly enough. I think that the most frustrating thing with Hank is there are areas of his game he could easily improve that he chooses not to (stickhandling comes to mind) instead relying on his natural ability. Hank always seems to start slowly and get better as crunch time approaches though.

yeah and marty also had Scot Stevens, Scott Niedermayer protecting his ass all those years. We dont have noone of that caliber. Mcd has a potential but he has sucked this year for the most part.

Well the bright side is they have a nice rest before Detroit on Saturday.
