what are we doing about our coaching staff?

With frank's coaching staff dropping like flies, is there any word on the new coaching staff?

We will probably hear some things after the draft. The FO and whats left of our coaches are just focusing on that.

Both Kiki Vandeweghe and Rod Thorn have criticized player development as a team problem. Assistant coaches are primarily responsible for player development.

Also, three coaches--Sullivan, Cartwright, and Thate--had expiring contracts. Cartwright is interviewing for the LEAD assistant's job in Phoenix. Sullivan has close ties with Rasheed Wallace, being his teammate and road roommate while at North Carolina. Thate was hired at Kidd's insistence...California connection, personal shooting coach. Lots of different reasons why people are leaving, but I dont see the Nets begging anyone to stay, which should tell you something.

Thate would be a huge loss. What would the team do without a shooting coach? [/sarcasm]

I wouldn't mind hiring Darell and officially signing Kerry Kittles as assistant coaches.

Kerry Kittles is getting an MBA. I doubt it's going to be used for managing Sean and Marcus Williams.

Darrell Armstrong probably wants nothing to do with this team. He also has said he wants to play another year.
