What are you most excited for?

New NBA season is almost here, what has you excited about this years version of the Blazers?
Im using almost pretty loosely.
I’ve got two things, I really want to see the young guys have a chance at expanded roles (Simons and Collins).

Also really excited to see more of Dame in his prime.

Damn! You two said EXACTLY, what I was going to say. Love has never shown even the slightest desire to play for Portland. He can take his soon to be albatross contract, and go retire playing for some team in China, for all I care....

Yep I am pretty excited at arguably our second best player coming back. Since we have 6 new players and 3 people that are going to get expanded roles I decided to use a Pre Nurk scenario which will be a half a season instead of listing each individual player on which a topic has already been started and there is tons to be excited about there. Then I decided to use a Post Nurk scenario in which there will be the Playoff run and roster jockeying in which again I could have used each individual players name and analyzed on which there have been already topics and opinions on.
So I guess what I really meant to say I am excited on the season starting.

They did not trade Lamarcus Aldridge he walked in FA a few years back. That was the last guy on this team that could take the double coverage off of Dame.

They added wings who can shoot and handle the ball... Now when the double comes we can punish other teams. Theoretically.

still have a 2 week camping trip planned for the last part Of August. The garden is going strong and the orchard will bust out in September. And, being a Duck fan the football season will be 8 games in before the Blazers start playing

I'm much more curious than excited at this point. Sure seems like Portland is betting heavy on Zach and Simons. I think that will be a rocky road at times. I'm also thinking that the widespread assumptions that Portland has upgraded their 3 point shooting and spacing is resting on a shaky foundation.

Thats reasonable, honestly my summer plans include parenting young kids and working a whole lot. Im pretty excited for the football season NFL and college. For basketball though, always ready to see more Blazer games!

Lol. I wasn't sure. Yes, I think it was Gunsmoke that had Festus. There was a pic of Ezelia floating around, with him dressed up like a Sherriff. That, and the Playstation Game- Uncle Festus revenge, or some shit like that. I can't find them anymore. I did find one with him getting ready to play. Hell, we're paying him; may as well use him....
