It looks likely that she is going to run in 2016, what are your thoughts on her?

she may be the best choice..It really would depend on who her running mate was, a nut ball like pelosie..no thanks, but there are others that are sane.

I just remember how she was hated by the Right before they turned their attention towards Obama. Has that view changed?

oh fuck yeah, it has

she is way more mid road, I would welcome that

OMG, I was really hoping for her to make it during the primaries. I knew Obama was full of shit during the primaries. I knew we had no shot at getting a GOP president in office that election. I was praying Hillary was going to make it.

I would like a candidate that is a little more liberal than Hillary, but, I would also be quite happy with her. Especially if it meant somewhat of a coming together of people from both sides of the isle. I was quite surprised by the reaction in this thread so far. I really expected hatred.

Well like I said before. I voted for Mr. Clinton twice. If she actually made it past the primaries and the GOP canidate wasn't of my liking; I would vote for her.

I think she's hated by half the people on the left.

I know a guy who runs campaigns (is an actual campaign manager) for house candidates and more recently one of the california propositions. He knows hillary and can't stand her.

FWIW

I like her and think she'd make a very strong candidate and good president. 2016 is a long way away, but at this point, I can't think of anyone I'd prefer over Hillary off the top of my head. The two parties are so polarized right now, it would be nice to have someone in office that can at least try to move things back toward the middle ground.

While other politicians and campaign workers may not like her personally, I think she has the respect of many in both parties. And, let's face it, to be a viable female presidential candidate, you need to be a bit of a hard ass. Show any signs of weakness and the media and opposition are all going to trot out the old, "too soft and too emotional" argument against a female president. Better to appear too tough, than too weak, even if it rubs a few people the wrong way.

Love her. Gave a lot of money to her campaign in 2007. I hope she runs and wins.

I think she's probably a shrill harridan ... but she's a savvy politician in her own right. If she runs in 2016 I can't say I'd vote for her in a primary unless the rest of the candidates are a bunch of hacks and depending on the republican candidate in the general she wouldn't be an automatic vote for me either. All of it comes down to whether or not the GOP guy is a religious wingnut or not.

I'm a registered democrat with a lot of libertarian leanings, so I'm hardly a partisan. For instance, if Chris Christie ran and Hillary was his opponent I'd probably vote for him.

Ridiculous. There is no chance she will run. Invented by Republican blogs. Source?

No source other than seeing prognostication from pundits, talking what ifs. And it does make sense to me. I could be totally wrong, I doubt she even knows for certain.

Why is it Ridiculous?

I think you guys run the human gaffe machine.

Biden.

Biden might run, but I doubt he makes it out of the primaries. Hillary will be 69, but Biden will be73. The age will be forgiven by liberals for Hillary since she will be breaking the gender barrier, but nobody, especially liberals, want an old white dude, even if he is energetic.

I don't remember a sitting VP not getting the nomination if he wanted it.

So far, I think Reagan was our oldest president at election at 69 years old.

I think she'll be too old. She's a lot like Nixon and I wonder how that will play in 4 years. Also, unless the economy is much better I can't imagine a dem having a ghost of a chance.

I'm no Hillary fan, but I can't take Biden seriously. Hillary's a hard ass, and I don't doubt Denny's story about his friend who can't stand her. I wouldn't want to socialize with her, but I think she'd be a decent president.

I predict that the Democratic and Republican nominee will each be a Mexican from a Southern state.

It's the Republicans' turn to win, and the CIA will enforce that custom as usual.

Obama will run for a third term in 2016.

I am not a tin fiol hat guy, but the thought has crossed my mind. Oboma is so young and full of himself, I would not be supprised to see him at least try to pull off some "emergency " power play, that would allow him to remain in office. With the cuirrent mind set in place, I think the amarican people would let him..I think he sees himself as a modern day FDR..
