What do you expect out of Will?

I actually think Trob is a very good player who needed structure to improve, something he didn't have until he landed here.

Oh yes. Oh yes indeed. Will is built to "make things happen" and Blake is built to help that out.

I thought nothing of him till the latter part of last season where he had some really good games. He can create his own shot, has good ball control, attacks the paint, and has shown some very deft passing ability. His no look pass to Freeland for the point blank jam was a thing of beauty.

He just needs to improve his shooting percentages. If he can cut back on the bad shots, and elevate his 3pt shooting to something decent, like even 33% he'll be a good reserve.

I like that he played well in the playoffs. Yeah, many of the games weren't close, but he played best against the best. That's a good trait to have.

To me Will is right on track and making improvements. I expect him to be a 6 man or to back up Nico at the SF position. I expect him to pick up the tempo, play good defense, rebound and finish at the rim. His outside shot it improving. I think he'll look better playing with better players in the regular season and he'll get minutes this year.

As I recall (always dangerous) Will had that one good playoff game, then when he tried to replicate it, he fell flat on his face.

I like Barton because I like hyper-energetic players. That's why I liked Sheed and dislike Aldridge. Also why I liked Whitsitt but not recent GMs.

Now, all we have to do is get Barton to put his energy into defense and yelling at the referees, not shooting.
