My college roommate was on the Pan Am flight that was blown up over Lockerbie, Scotland. My only solace was that he probably never knew what happened.

Wow.

I have a theory that the government won't call anything a terrorist event anymore unless it is so obvious - so as to not give them the publicity which in turn makes doing such acts less attractive.

Anybody with me on this?
