Ah hell, the '19 Season is already over. Per an article written by Buster Olney for the "Insider" (to which I don't subscribe) the Astros are going to win the World Series.
 
Listening to Russo pimping the Patriots calling their accomplishment based on two guys Brady & his coach. Stated that the Yankee Teams that won 4 & 5 World Series in a row were no match. Stated that the same group of guys won those championships and that Stengles group played lousy teams with no multi-level playoffs. Further bashed the '95-2003 Yankees stating that the same group of guys won those playoffs. What a fucking jerk. Not everyone agreed when Baines was put in the HOF but I got a huge chuckle out of TLR telling Risso that his opinions weren't about shit because he never played or competed. Just another opinionate asshole running his God Damn mouth on TV. How do these assholes get their jobs.

my exact sentiments; these and imho- all proposals over the last decade; less Instant Replay; have and are unnecessary. amazes me how much time these guys waste; trying to increase efficiency; time; by wasting shitloads of time thinking this shit up....

GT had too many mental miscues defensively and on the basepaths last year. Who's to say he will not have the same miscues at shortstop?? Lemahieu will be a welcome addition, Paxton and J A Happ also. Will Severino fare well, and will tank become a Humvee or Little Engine That Could....??

What about Britton and Betances? No telling what we will see with chappedassChopsueyMan...

Giancarlo needs to cut his effing strikeouts down. He doesn't need to step up, he needs to do a distance jump forward.

Just saw a couple of conflicting articles. #1 stating that Steinbrenner commenting that the Yankees had not been cheap this winter. Hall stated that the teams moves were correct, addressing needed personnel to address shortcomings noted in '18. Steinbrenner also stated that they would investigate but not necessarily act on potential moves. Article # 2 stated that the Yankees have made a 7-8 year 220 million dollar offer to Flake Machado. I certainly hope that is a rumor, sure don't want that man anywhere near the Yankees.

I know, when I heard the initial news on MLB it was made out as- stating and quoting Hal Steinbrenner, who supposedly had said as much...

No wonder Duquette is an MLB anal-list instead of a general manager. Duquette signed John Wetland to his first contract, one-the child molester, the other a pimp spreading rumors...
