Not what I’m saying but I understand a narrative needs to be spun here due to tribal thinking. Look, it’s fine if you think conservatives do more harm then democrats, I don’t care. That’s your opinion. You still can’t ignore the democrats side. I’m saying the are both responsible for bullshit and division. It’s not some competition to me probably because I don’t care for either party. I’m just saying, both are responsible for nonsense

Yes, you are making a 'both sides' argument. It's not convincing, because you are unwilling to admit that it isn't binary. Being corrupt/divisive/evil/etc. isn't like being pregnant. You can be a little bit corrupt, or a lot corrupt, or somewhere in the middle.

Neither party is purely good or purely evil, but that doesn't mean they are equally good/evil.

Murderers aren't forgiven if they point out that other people jaywalk, even though both sides have committed crimes.

I think this is your problem. All democrats aren't liberal.

I'm talking about the difference between liberals and conservatives.

There are some democrats that probably are racist.

They're not liberal.

They were racist conservative DEMOCRATS, who became republicans after civil rights passed.

So, I'm speaking about the difference between liberals and conservatives, not Democrats and Republicans.

There you go, this is a perfect example of generalizing as there are likely some corrupt people on both sides just as there are good people on both sides. My wife is a democrat and I am an independent and several times you have labeled me as a democrat. That statement is simply false.

To be fair, I suppose I would rate him better than average. All though as my C&C, I did not think highly of him at the time. Never got past that either.

I disagree, I know racism is a big problem, but the biggest divide in this country in my opinion is between the haves and have nots.
This is also where I believe the corruptions on both the reps and dems is so cohesive. They’re in bed together making laws to make their rich friends richer. Its Crony capatilism. Even that divide plays into racism in america. The republicans have played into it by telling working white middle class people, hey all the liberals want to take your money via taxes or whatever for minorities. The democrats have told minorities that if those middle class white people vote for their pocket books its being racist. All the while the gap between the ultra rich and “us normie” widens and wide s as they profit from us fighting with each other.
Even the Bernie Sanders of the world seem to be driven mainly by his checking account.

I have done it before. Was wrong on some of them. That’s why I say not to generalize. I think everybody has done it before. Does no good to keep doing it.

I believe that people who place racism lower on our list of priorities than number 1 is because they have never had to endure it their entire lives and the lives of all their ancestors the way Black Americans have had to endure it. Think of all the lynchings, the being turned down for an apartment or even a hotel room. Think about having to go to the back door of a restaurant to eat because you're not allowed inside. Think about all the people who call you Nigger. Think about not being allowed to drive after dark. Think about being stopped constantly because of nothing more than your skin color. Think about the people who give you ugly looks or ignore you. Think about the people who were railroaded into guilty pleas. Think about the jobs you were denied until you were approved as a dishwasher or sharecropper. Good grief, our so called President, Donald Trump, got sued for not renting to Black Americans. You don't see it but they do.
