Exactly. My thought is that it’s largely genetic. I read the whole article and all this writer gives you is statistics but none of it concludes that it’s due to racism. That makes no sense. Forget the fact most black mothers are single mothers because the dad is either in prison or was abusive and bounced. Yeah that has nothing to do with it, or the genetic and cultural factor, being poor, etc. I would like to see people take responsibility for once. Stop blaming others for their issues or short comings. I don’t care what color you are, but certain stereotypes are true with all colors. Certain things have become acceptable within each color and culture. I don’t walk around choosing to look at it that way but if you want me to dive deep in it, I know the statistics and have seen enough documentaries and researched myself to know that it’s cultural acceptances. Wells Fargo is indeed a bank to avoid. Not a good place to do business. But I do not quite buy the spin of targeting minorities.
Target by knowing they could screw them more most likely. More desperate customers, instead of telling them no they fuck em over. I don't particularly care for banks in general so I wouldn't be surprised.
My experience with the check cashing place is limited to a white guy I worked with who didn't have a car. We'd go to lunch on Fridays and I'd have to take him to Sunset Station to cash his check and then Money Tree to pay off his loans.
I would have charged him 70 percent of what they did but still not worth it.A wise decision.
