Then what do we do? Who do we draft? Or what could the #1 pick get us in a trade?

Greg Monroe is the best we could get for the #1 pick??

I'd trade it. The #1 pick should be Noels and I don't want to make another Oden like mistake and take the injured guy. Now if we get 2 or 3 i'd keep them and take Porter or McLemore.

Why is Noel considered the number one pick if he has a torn ACL?

Go after Greg Monroe or DMC with this pick.

Monroe is horrible value for the #1 pick even in this weak draft when we can sign a better version of Monroe in FA with Jefferson. I would trade it for DMC though.

I don't like Porter at all. (From the few times I saw him) but McLemore is interesting. Lot of POtential. I would be leery about Noels.

I want the 3rd pick!

After we win the lottery, we will go back in time and draft MJ instead of Bowie, Durant instead of Oden, and Faried instead of Nolan Smith. Then we will bring all of them back to the future so we can have a super team of Lillard, Jordan, Durant, Randolph, and Aldridge.

Aldridge at center? First round EXIT!

hahahahaha I like what you did there.

Winning the Lotto earns us even more flexibility to improve. There may be a team willing to rebuild around Noels or McLemore and who would be willing to give up their veteran for it (ATL, DAL come to mind).
I'd think we'd have to look really hard at either drafting at the spot and trading LMA for more future assets or other positions.

If we win the lotto, it greatly improves the quality of player we can realistically get or target with a trade.

If we fix all our draft mistakes, we don't trade Randolph; I totally get that... but who do we take instead of Roy?

Rondo. (oops, Rasta beat me to it)

You can argue that Roy at his peak was better than Rondo - but his peak was too short.

I'd buy a house on the Oregon coast.
