He was an absolute beast. His problem was his outside shooting. Everything else was stellar

I think KJ was more elusive and quicker than Damian. The players he reminds me of most are Chauncey Billups and in some cases Terry Porter. He will be better than Terry. And in time he might be better than Chauncey. His first three years were better than Chauncey's.

I think Steph and Lillard will be the best PGs in the NBA for years.

And I Like Lillard better. Why?! I think Lillard is more clutch and has that MJ and Kobe swag. They love the big stage and being "The Guy".

I don't ever think we are out of a game when he's on the floor. He's got "it". I can't say the same for Steph, even though he's probably a better shooter.

3-4 years from now Steph will be the Drexler to Lillard's Jordan

Forget about 3 or 4 years. Steph and Lillard are going to go at it for the marbles in March and April 2015. The winner will win.

I just don't see the Billups similarities

His game is more perimeter like Billups. They both could take it in to get the high percentage shot but they both struggle to shake off their defender and relied on their upper body strength when taking it to the hoop. Terry Porter was very similar.

KJ had no prob shaking off his defender. Just ask Terry.

He had plenty of those perimeter shots too, but he was owning in the paint.

I thought my cross between Mark Price...shooting master and Chauncey "Big Shot" Billups was that he had Billups poise and clutch confidence. He's a smart player and rebounds well, is not afraid of contact. Billups was bigger and stronger, built like Wes but not the fastest guy..a guy who let the game come to him and a champion. Dame is unique. Now that he's improved defensively, he's gaining confidence. Mark Price was just pure money shooting the ball.

Lillard's 2P% has shot up in the last month; this season, he's shooting 51% from 2, and 39.7% from 3.

Getting a couple of quick dunks or layups seems to spark Dame in games. More often than not, that's when his 3 starts falling. He's doing it more recently and I like it.

That one dunk that he almost packed to basically end the game would have been epic. He almost landed it too.

I think one thing that may put him over the top of the rest is his reliability. So far he seems to have that Andre Miller, ironman thing going for him. I think that may be underrated as a determining factor going forward.

To me, that monster jam spoke volumes about the guy's conditioning. The only other PG his height that I think could do that at that point in the game would be Derrick Rose.

To me, the combination of smarts, clutch shooting and that extra gear at the end of an exhausting game is something special.

And that's to say nothing about his seeming durability, which I hope becomes 'Dre-esque.

Dame is my favorite player, period. LA comes in second. I think the only person in this league who can touch Dame is Curry, but I still wouldn't take Curry over Dame. Curry tends to have less situational awareness of what's around him when he drives to the basket. A PG like Lillard sees that, takes advantage of it, and steals the ball. That's valuable.
