Guerrero (Acapulco) is on the west coast which is probannly the most dangerous state right now. So is Sinaloa and there is an uptick in violence in Baja California.

The Mexicans don't want the Salvadoreans in Mexico which is why they want weak border security so they bypass Mexico to go to the US

Well, my view is dated...skewed....but Mexico is not high on my list for travels anytime soon.....I've got better places to chill

never judge a country by the ex pats....not a good parameter...Mexico's immigration problem doesn't really concern me for some reason....
 
Truly my FAVORITE shithole places in the world are well guarded secrets......I have half a dozen places I love to go to shut off the bullshit and howl at the moon....don't want to hear any English when I go there

It’s kinda crazy people have been going through some shit in Haiti for a while now after that earthquake and now all of a sudden people care about Haiti again after trumps comments or whatever

I've backpacked around a large portion of Mexico over 5 months. Tijuana is literally the worst place I saw while there, and it wasn't even close.

Saying you don't want to ever go back to Mexico because you saw Tijuana in the 70's is like saying you never want to visit America because you visited Gary, Indiana in, well, any era.

I am never visiting the dark side of Camden NJ again but I could go back to the bright spots.
