I'm a writer and I have a knack for being able to take complex, often boring subjects and make them sound interesting, fun, and accessible. That alone has gotten me a lot of clients.

My other superpower is that sometimes I can guess ahead of time which house the couple will pick on House Hunters.

I said I'd ride it to work as soon as he gave me the job...and that I would need a large parking spot.

I got the job.

I did not get a pink elephant or a large parking spot.

Disappointing.
